Wow. The scene between Luke and Laura... the writing for them was so good around this time. It hurts my heart to think of what GH is today compared to this. The difference is chilling.

Normally I love Luke even though he is a butt hole, but he was a loveable butt hole but when "Return of the cassidines" and "Timoria" started he turned into a bigger butthole, and here he is so slappable...making his wife believe that their child is asleep down the hall while he is getting some "nookie"..shameful and shameful the way he lied to his sister!

I think Luke had a point. It was between father and son. NOTHING Laura could've said or done would change how Lucky reacted.

@Scarlettcrzy ME TOO! I was in college and I was taping it every day. On the day the episode where Luke reveals the rape to Lucky aired, I was literally driving 95 mph on the expressway just so I could get back to my dorm in time to watch and tape it! hahaha. (I made it on time, thankfully).

the show absolutely rocked from 1997 to 1999 with the aftermath of lucky's 'death'. 1998 was probably its best year ever.

@octoberapple I think GH did it's best during the 90's :) From the early years of 94/95 with BJ's death and Monica's breast cancer then to 96/97/98/99 with the Cassadine's and Spencer's.

@MrsSuperman93 late 70s/early80s was really good, too. starting from a bit before luke and laura became the thing. :D but i don't say that too argue with you. they were just both great periods for the show.
