Why r people so jealous of the 100' ... tru dat', there are some really great programs out there, however I don't hear of or see them making "International" headlines. Make no mistake, FAMU is and will always be America's band... you other flunkees sit back and watch us do what we do!

We practice like any other band, just better and more efficiently...............Thats why our shows are better, and our sound is crisp...and yes we have a band room thats fit all of us.....HUBBA 100 F2k7
we practice as a whole then divide into sections then come back together as whole then go back into sections and we rehearse everyday out the week literally. at practice everything is repeated and taking over and over again!!!! did that help any?
FAMU you will always be the best I marched 92-95 I cant believe some fool on you tube is trying to place NSU over FAMU that's laughable. When you all have a Sutler under your belt and Inauguration parades and be the band all others are measured by then come see us.
I have never been to this battle of the bands in Atlanta but I think it would be a great idea if they actually gave a winner of the competition so that everyone will know who the best really is. To be honest with you I think they're afraid to do that because FAMU would just win it every year.

Spare me with accolades, cause there are plenty of bands out there on the same level, nobody is the best every year. I marched on SC. Marching 101, early 90's I have seen them so much better, so listening to this clip and seeing them the past 8 years, they have not been that good...PERIOD!!! Hey but name goes a long way. I personally think that Bethune Cookman has been the best band over the past 6 to 7 years. The 100 is just big, thats it..therefore overrated
I don't have to spare you the accolades. None of the programs you've listed have gotten the accolades that Fam has. Consider yourself spared. Also, having a good name helps but if it falls off it's notice. And the invites keep coming. So I don't think we've fallen off. To say that the 100 is only Big and that's it? That's the dumbest thing I've heard since Bush was in office. The tradition sets standards, and we meet them YEARLY and surpass them. So in the words of Joe Dumbass Wilson, "YOU LIE!"
I am from Florida and I expected better. All of those drum majors for what? Also, they had a nasty sound and lack of creativity. I am not impressed with the numbers because many of the band students attend other colleges in the Tallahassee area. It is a known fact FAMU pads the band. They are living off of legacy. So what, you went to DC? It does not diminish the fact that you can do better. I call them as I see them. Give me a good show, sound and creative formations and then we can talk.
I was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. All Floridians do not know why FAMU has 4 drum majors. It was not taught in my public school system.Norfolk State University is a much cleaner sounding and creative band hands down. They have a much cleaner sound. Look at the formations and movements of the band. They do more that just line up at the yardlines for safety. I know this is an inconvenient truth for you. The 100 did what no ther band did that attended the Inauguration Parade they applied as all others did......please don't make it seems as though they were singled out and invited to come because that's not true.....they applied as many other bands did.

The hosts seem to have their favorites. Rocsi gave a shout out to FAMU on 106th and park. Ryan Cameron talked about FAMU and how loud they were with quality sound. He said they were so loud they made you squint. He also said that Texas Southern had a funny skit with th largest Chicken McNugget in the world. Didnt mention anyone else. ouestmonhubbi FAMU is the real deal. Blowing out a band without controll and out of tune is bad. But having a quality sound is good. Ask Southern, Oh sorry, they still have not figured it out, yet. I like A&T, but I could not tell the difference between A&T and all the other bands. But you will know if you saw FAMUs band.
Being from NSU I'm not a huge fan but that was sweet. But then again you can do a lot with 450 people but again that was nice, FAMU knows how to put on a show.

Spare me with accolades, cause there are plenty of bands out there on the same level, nobody is the best every year. I marched on SC. Marching 101, early 90's I have seen them so much better, so listening to this clip and seeing them the past 8 years, they have not been that good...PERIOD!!! Hey but name goes a long way. I personally think that Bethune Cookman has been the best band over the past 6 to 7 years. The 100 is just big, thats it..therefore overrated

I don't have to spare you the accolades. None of the programs you've listed have gotten the accolades that Fam has. Consider yourself spared. Also, having a good name helps but if it falls off it's notice. And the invites keep coming. So I don't think we've fallen off. To say that the 100 is only Big and that's it? That's the dumbest thing I've heard since Bush was in office. The tradition sets standards, and we meet them YEARLY and surpass them. So in the words of Joe Dumbass Wilson, "YOU LIE!"

I am from Florida and I expected better. All of those drum majors for what? Also, they had a nasty sound and lack of creativity. I am not impressed with the numbers because many of the band students attend other colleges in the Tallahassee area. It is a known fact FAMU pads the band. They are living off of legacy. So what, you went to DC? It does not diminish the fact that you can do better. I call them as I see them. Give me a good show, sound and creative formations and then we can talk.

I was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. All Floridians do not know why FAMU has 4 drum majors. It was not taught in my public school system.Norfolk State University is a much cleaner sounding and creative band hands down. You sound upset brother. By the way, I am from Brevard County, Florida. I was born no were else but Florida. This is loud and uncontrolled. Check out Norfolk State University. They have a much cleaner sound. Look at the formations and movements of the band. They do more that just line up at the yardlines for safety. I know this is an inconvenient truth for you. Also, I am not concerned so much about history than actual sound.

The 100 did what no ther band did that attended the Inauguration Parade they applied as all others did......please don't make it seems as though they were singled out and invited to come because that's not true.....they applied as many other bands did.

The hosts seem to have their favorites. Rocsi gave a shout out to FAMU on 106th and park. Ryan Cameron talked about FAMU and how loud they were with quality sound. He said they were so loud they made you squint. He also said that Texas Southern had a funny skit with th largest Chicken McNugget in the world. Didnt mention anyone else. Just thought that I would update you guys. Thanks for posting this video.

ouestmonhubbi FAMU is the real deal. Blowing out a band without controll and out of tune is bad. But having a quality sound is good. Ask Southern, Oh sorry, they still have not figured it out, yet. I like A&T, but I could not tell the difference between A&T and all the other bands. But you will know if you saw FAMUs band.

Being from NSU I'm not a huge fan but that was sweet. But then again you can do a lot with 450 people but again that was nice, FAMU knows how to put on a show.
