Is there any way to record in stereo? I have one and it only records in mono. That's ridiculous. Stereo is the standard nowadays. I'm very disappointed with it. If you know anyway to turn it to stereo please let me know.
ive just been messin with it coz this didnt really help much , but if u go to control panel and sound u can do different tests on it u can change how much the mic picks up obviously u want 100% comin out speakers if u got the mic further away from u, when i had full sensitivity tho u get a lot of back ground noise if u turn down base and treble u dont really need them it gives out ur natural voice . i hope i helped im still testing it myself see how it goes on the sound test :D
nice example of the different 'modes'. just a couple of corrections. there is some confusion when you switch. you call one mode the (2:34) "omni or the uni directional". The switch positions are: Top-Cardioid (Uni), Mid-Cardioid -10db, Bot-Omni (360). As stated you started in the Mid position @ -10bd. The fuller sound is when you switch UP to Cardioid (louder, and NOT padded or -10db). When you switch to the bottom, there is more reverb (sound bouncing from all around). Still, very NICE review
uni-directional is one way, LOL

exactly, he said uni-directional picks up from the front and omni from both sides

I'm trying to figure out if this would be good for a classroom setting, could you do a test at different distances away from the mic? thx.

@bloodline: the video is the test; and you can hear the difference as the side switch is changed at 2:20.
