Taylor polynomial is a good approach, but if you only approximate through the 5th term (I think you said that in the video), then any angle past the first period will be innacurate. Yet, I understand the large amount of computation necessary to calculate more terms of the taylor polynomial. I'm also assuming that you are using a maclaurin series to simplify the process a bit.

@twoofakindmagic Yes, the machine uses a maclaurin series. One can adjust the angle by using addition/subtraction to put it in the range of -Pi/2 to Pi/2 if it is not already. This will yield a precise and correct answer.
