Simon is in the same stage Ray's was a few years ago. i mean the guy is desperate for her. He saw Ray with her at the hospital and the way she couldn't look Simon in his eyes and he still din't get that!

and she wasn't ready for Ray yet... she hasn't seen him in a long time, she was feeling guilty for the accident( she even said it) but she didn't really give in to the feelings that she have for him ans that's why after the breakup with Simon, she realize the only one for her is Ray. Always was!
