@01riprock The guitarist of Steel Panther used to be in War and Peace with Jeff Pilson in the early 90s. He also played with Rob Halford in his side band "Fight". You are right. All these guys are excellent. Plus, Michael Starr shits all over Dokken these days with the vocals.
God, it is fucking magic to watch Pilson and Lynch back together on stage playing the Dokken songs. I know George and Don hate each other but I would pay anything to see the Dokken classic lineup back together for one last tour.
I am holding out hope this new project with Mick, George, and Jeff is good. I hear Oni Logan is going to sing. I wish they would just let Jeff sing instead.

It still seems weird that he is in Foreigner to me. Anyways, the new project with Mick, George, and Jeff was announced by those guys late last summer of 2011. It should be really epic.

@melodicexp If you listen to it again bro you can hear the amp cut in and out in the beginning, and then it sounded like the distortion did as well. After the solo during the riff you canhear it too. he jumped onstage without them knowing so the rig was problably slapped together. good ear though

I was on holiday from England and only 18 and really wanted to see steel panther on home ground, it was incredible!!! Its such a shame you cant get right up to the stage back in the UK, this was much better! :D

Garage vocals? Michael Starr is a great vocalist...possibly better than the singers in the bands he covers. And is also has far more versatility.
And the lyrics are a joke. Its a PARODY BAND. But they are all skilled musicians, look up their real studio covers if you dont believe that.
