Bradley Manning did the right thing and I salute his courage, but he knew the risks, and the consequences.
Perhaps people should concentrate on getting a govt that behaves in this way under control, so that the Bradley Manning's (& Timothy McVeigh's) of this world don't feel compelled to take such drastic actions.
Perhaps instead of constantly advocating the further empowerment of such a govt, you could honor Pvt Manning's bravery by taking an honest look at what a 'powerful' govt actually is.
