  • Fucking Obama, if he was a progressive he would've pardoned Manning already.

    FREE BRADLEY MANNING!!!!

  • Listen to that slime ball Adrian Lamo justify his actions to turn Bradly Manning in. hxxp://xxx.democracynow.ORGE/2011/12/19/adrian_lamo_bradley_manning_informant_defends

  • So awesome

  • it must have been agitating to find that out

  • Whats with the hate on Ron Paul. He may not be the best candidate, but he's the lesser of the evils.

  • @thesparitan kill ur self

  • @swanson01john i agree but solotary confinment, force feed him, strip him naked 24/7 spray ice water on him. No talking to him make his life hell and touture him indirectly.

  • Manning is a traitor to the USA no matter how you put it.He put a lot of AMERICANS lives in harms way.Like most decent Americans i say SHOOT HIM AND BE DONE WITH IT.He is as bad as the ROSENBERGS who were executed for spying.OH being GAY does not have nothing to do with his actions.

  • Cenk's going to Gitmo.

  • BManning part of the TYT Army??? Cool!!! Thanks for your sacrifice.

  • Understood, I didn't think Youtube was in the business of screwing people.

  • Honor is a term bandied about for dishonorable reasons just like patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.

  • FREE MANNING

  • I hope Brad get's help with his new found Gender Identity Disorder, he needs it!

  • Great to know a soon to be tranny is in Gitmo, hope he stays there! He is now more scum now that he's a fag tranny. Although thank god he released those papers!

  • @thEannoyingE You're a moron.

  • I am starting to lose faith in my fellow straight people. It seems the only good deeds are done by gay and bisexual people.

  • Weeeeeelll, if he helped to start the 'Arab Spring' events, then he 'hurt' plenty of people, some are now even dead. I am not against it, but that's the reality. This 'Arab Spring' caused plenty of deaths and other injuries across many countries (even if you exclude the actual dictators themselves).

  • CENK FOR PRESIDENT

  • Am I the only person uncomfortable calling Manning a hero for disclosing classified information? Unless the military is breaking the law I don't see any reasonable argument for dishonoring his country by releasing embarrassing diplomatic messages. It all accomplished nothing in the end.

  • @bcourter82 TOTAL HERO

  • @bcourter82 It didn't accomplish anything? Because of the information leaked by Manning, revolutions in 17 different Arab countries have begun - some topling, or in the process thereof, their very much corrupt governments and dictators. Also, do you not remember the video of an Apache attack against Reuters reporters/photographers? That was also leaked by Manning.

  • @BTPhotography1 You attribute the Arab Spring to Manning? What an idiot!

  • @bcourter82 --I will drink to that.He is a damn traitor no ifs or butts. He dishonored his country and uniform for what. You cannot blame him for being QUEER on being a traitor.

  • Manning was a member of the TYT Army!!! TOO STRONG!

How does this not make TOTAL sense...

  • you should be proud, who knows how big a part the show had in this.

  • fuck i havent been to tytinterviews in months

  • :) how nice. FREE BRADLEY MANNING

  • Bradley MANNING!

Irony in the name there, yeah?

  • Or there is a chick, Brianna Manning.

  • @OrthodoxAtheist Define "confirmed" and get back to me on that one.

  • I'm calling Bull**** on this story. Sorry but seriously?

  • @mewimi Are you calling bullshit on the gender issues aspect, or that he followed TYT? Sorry to tell ya, but the former is almost definitely true (given his confirmed discussions with a prominent youTuber), and I don't see a problem with that. As for the latter... given he was looking around for outlets to responsibly handle classified information, TYT would likely have been an outlet to approach in the current limited environment. Not sure why you find the story so outlandish.

  • wow thats crazy he followed you guys

  • The view count for this video is interestingly low. Youtube's screening?

  • @Smegma007 Someone needs to follow up on this. Not me, too busy. But, I have seen some TYT videos where the likes/ dislikes are more than the views. Somethings up, I suspect it's some kind of mistake or remotely its a way to screw Youtube partners out of revenue sharing.

  • @spinlover1 Different update times. They don't both update in real time. It's really not that big of a deal.

  • @spinlover1 YouTube conspiracy? No. There's an algorythm used by YouTube that determines wether or not a viral video has legitimate and unique views, ratings and comments as opposed to someone ramping up their views via scripts or other means.

  • @BTPhotography1 Thanks for the info. I'm going to drop anymore speculation about any conspiracies perpetrated by Youtube.

  • Bradley Manning will not be released. He will be convicted and likely receive a life sentence. His only hope will be a presidential pardon, which will not come from this administration.

  • "“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act” -- George Orwell.

  • @SupermarketsRevil Amen, or Thoreau: the only place for a just man in an unjust society is prison.

  • TYT for the win

  • TYT has more agents than the KGB!

  • Free Bradley Manning or charge ALL the people involved in the War Crimes.

  • TYT Army is forever strong.

  • I think the goernment's case about the "harm" that the leaks did are, in fact, more embarrasment than potential physical harm toward anyone. I hate to admit this, but I would have to agree with Fox News, this is a Fascist government.

  • Oops, continued... Are being tapped?

  • How much youmwanna bet that Cenk's phones

  • TYT army is just to strong!!

  • some of the leaks said that khomenei supreme leader of iran is suffering from cancer and would probably die late 2011 well its december now.

but even if he dies and thers a regime change in iran the US will probably still find a way to go to war.....

  • sorry cenk but ALOT of people were hurt by it, just because it didn't hurt any american troops doesn't mean it didnt hurt anybody. there are tons of people and organizations named that are working with the US government that were exposed to their respective regimes, plus anybody thats served in the military knows that you don't humiliate the establishment, they will make you pay; what he did was brave, but i dont think he will ever be free.

  • @filmonewaldeabsebhat YES THATS THE EFFIN POINT - you crazy person. If you are behaving in a corrupt immoral way YOU SHOULD BE EXPOSED - what planet are you from? And if the army is behaving in a corrupt illegal manner - then you would shut your mouth? Look you are a brain washed fool - go google 'The Authoritarians' - 4 DECADES of scientific research into the dangers of blind obedient followers or read 'Conservatives without conscience' - YOU ARE A DANGER TO DEMOCRACY!

  • @filmonewaldeabsebhat I agree with you, people got hurt but there was no like guidelines over whether it was deserved or not. You hit and they hit back, doesn't matter who is right anymore, that just war.

  • Someone as fucked up and confused as Manning should never have been trusted with sensitive military information.

  • @JCRF Nobody as fucked up and confused as you should ever have access to post comments on a YouTube channel, yet here we are.

  • @JCRF Yeah the country shouldn't do that to him, instead they should try to help him figure himself out. I'm in canada and I can't imagine them expecting me to fight a war, I just couldn't it. It sucks but not everyone can defend our country, we realy on our troops and here's what we do to them if they are "different" If the US plans to be multicultural it should have a few more holes for people of different shapes to fit in. Sorry i think my comment went of track here.

  • SPARTANS... WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION??????

  • Mannig leaked secret documents to a foreign national. That's a crime. We can't have it sorry...

  • @TheOkham It's called whistleblowing retard

Or do you really think "I was just following orders" is a good excuse for being complicit in the coverup of war crimes?

  • @TheOkham He leaked it to the American people. That was his full intent, to just be a whistle-blower. But yes, he should have some form of punishment just not what they want to get him for.

  • @joespams He should have NO form of punishment. Nobody should be punished for reporting a crime even if it is a violation of a CONTRACT. He deserves immunity from prosecution.

  • @joespams The problem is that the whole system isn't being punished, just the one guy that had a conscious gets the heat. That's what bugs me a lot.

  • He didn't release anything, that said. He legally can't be held, so to the officials holding him. Release him and turn yourself in as traitors and terrorist, if not you will be found and when you resist arrest for your crimes you will be killed for attempted murder of real Americans.

  • Another Youtuber ZJemptv, Zinnia Jones did a vid sometime back about conversations he had had with Manning prior to the leaking of the information. watch?v=GPkW7MgHXeo interesting stuff.

  • You know what would be the saddest thing... would be if he actually had not been the source of the leak but had been simply turned in by that other soldier (Adrian Lamau?) because he told him about wanting a sex change...

  • Bradley Manning should be pardoned and given the highest ranked medal in existance.

What he has done for humanity can not be measured.

  • WIN.

  • @izaiahisback the thing is, I really don't care if he's gay or not, but he's assuming that all guys at our school which happens to be catholic hate him, and he throws insults at everyone, so I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to him.

  • Wow if this is true that is Bradley Manning's twitter account than TYT is indirectly responsible for the Aran spring. And now that I think about TYT wouldn't be TYT without it's army so in a sense we are all responsible for the Arab spring. Booya! Thats some epic WIN.

  • Don't you get executed for treason? Isn't that what he was accused of. I don't think he needs to be freed or killed of course, but you cant just leak classified shiot and think its ok

  • @sammyjs1983 Obvious troll Z z Z z

  • Adrian Lamo has to be among the most despicable excuses for a human being on this earth. If anyone deserves to be locked in prison for the rest of their lives without a trial it's this fucking stupid idiot. Everytime I see his ugly face I want to puke. I sincerely wish from the bottom of my heart Adrian Lamo will get the most fucking painful rectal cancer you can have and that he will slowly die while shitting blood in enormous agony! That would be justice!

  • TYT should start a thermo-nuclear campaign to have him set free

  • Free Bradley Manning!

  • TYT changing the world

  • I would like someone on who thinks Manning is a "traitor"; not a jingoistic idiot, but someone with a semblance of sanity like rithrandil. Could be interesting.

  • The TYT army IS that strong!

  • TYT responsible for ousting Ghadaffi. Win.

  • @TheMangoDeluxe that's going too far.

  • Bradley Manning is going to spend a lot more than 17 months in prison.

  • Ron Paul and Joe Rogan on The Young Turks tv show. Make it happen people.

  • @AFd3693 You mean the SAME Ron Paul whose promoters shamelessly PRETEND to support the TYT audience while ALSO saying they don't care "how much of Cenk's dick is in your mouth"?

Ron Paul is a joke and so are his supporters. With Ron Paul as President, nothing will be different. Ron Paul doesn't want to end the Fed. He wants to "open it up to competition." That means the corporations and super rich would get to use their resource rich power to create THEIR own currency.

    Ron Paul sucks

  • @manilaenglish I've been watching TYT longer than I knew who Ron Paul was....don't act like you speak for the entire TYT audience loser. Keep all your fear talk to yourself big guy, and hope the current pres. doesn't throw the NDaa at ya before the next election. Most of the Democrats and Republicans suck....vote Ron Paul 2012 to end the wars and restore civil liberties in america...you can fight against the rest.

  • @manilaenglish Exactly.

  • @manilaenglish HEAR HEAR, well said.

  • @manilaenglish

None of what you said is true, its a shame you have as many thumbs up as you do.

  • @manilaenglish Ron Paul wants to dissolve the CIA. No matter what else he does, that alone makes then Obama.

  • @AFd3693 Eff that corporate robot Ron Paul. Bring on Rogan. He's at least cool and open minded.

  • @jimmycrackedcorn226 you're the most ignorant retard person to have ever commented on tyt, calling ron paul a corporate robot is so fucking stupid that I was just made stupider by reading that comment

  • @WarThug13 You're a ron paul supporter. You're too stupid to see how his policies would turn over all power to corporate interests.

Just because he doesn't have to take money from large companies doesn't mean he's not doing their work. They Realize Ron Paul does what they want for free.

  • @AFd3693 I can understand Ron Paul as a guest, but why Joe Rogan?

  • @AFd3693 Joe Rogan is an idiot.

  • Cenk, yet again, is completely right!

  • Even a fag can be a hero.

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

  • cenk for president

  • win, but cenk will be labeled as a muslim terrorist tomorrow :)

  • @Sorgutentarer And an enemy of the state, get arrested, and be held indefinitely without charge or trial.

  • Bradley Manning Gay? I did not know this. Wow and wants a sex change, Damn this guy is all over the place, but still has bigger balls then me for what he did.

  • That FBI snitch's name should be pronounced "Laymo".

    Because Lamo is lame.

  • ...wow. This is so awesome, if it is his twitter account.

  • FREE HIM (or her ...whatever :)

  • TYT Shhhh, you will be next Cenk.

  • Not too sure how it works, but you guys should buy more satellite time on the TYT show. You constantly have to cut them off which is unfortunate :(

  • What about Leonard Peltier? He was Wrongly convicted, The Had NO evidence he did any thing, and there was evidence the FBI shot First and They MURDERED a Native American defineding him self! And Obama said he would release him! USA is no more!

  • So tell us Cenk. If he deserved consequences, what should Bradley have done instead? What "legal" choices did he have if he wanted to expose the massive wrong doing?

  • @AcresofAnarchy

Cenk said that his prison stay has been long enough and that Bradley Manning should now be freed. So in Cenks mind, losing his job and 17 months in prison are either too much punishment or its just about right, but anything more would be too much.

  • thats cool

  • TYT Army... TOO STRONG!

  • once the defense appropriation bill passes with the parts that allow the us army to detain us citizens. this channel may be on the list of targets.

  • recruiters are going to have to start asking enlistees if they are members of the TYT army.

  • Holy Shit.. this gave me chills.

  • And I believe this could perfectly be true. Here's a video of Glenn Geenwald where he talks about how he vastly wrote about wikileaks when they were mostly working outside the US. I think Bradley Manning could perfectly decided he'd be that person to help them to do the same in the U.S. HfBUjRao7kk

  • @SilentedSpirit Greenwald.

  • You know, this is the reason why they want to change the law so they can 'execute' traitors. Because of this man.

  • @Ardenwolfe which they should get too

  • @Ardenwolfe

Or maybe they want more power and use this as an excuse?

  • after the bill passes military can come and take Cenk without saying nothing...

  • TYT is too strong.

  • Fuck yea. Being a paid member of TYT, I had a small part in bringing about revolutions. Manning is a patriot.

  • I do believe Bradley manning should serve time in prison. alot of time in prison, Whether he caused deaths or not. doesn't matter. He knew releasing the things he released had consequences, He swore an oath, and had at the very least a secret clearance. and the military tells you, if you should break the rules, you can go to prison, so I do believe he deserves every second of prison time he gets.

He messed up, He should get the punishment.

  • I would like to have more sympathy for the poor stupid little cunt, but anybody that joins the american military deserves whatever bad thing happens to them.... for they are working for the most evil force on the planet.. and even if they attempt to do something right... fuck em.

  • @wistoncap

I'll give a swing at the ol' retard logic...

And as the military is a tool of policy in the employ of a government in office by the will of the electorate, then you must be complicit with the most evil society on the planet.

Fuck you and everyone you know. If not American shall we implicate Western banking instead?

You're in your early twenties aren't you, in college? Deeply angered as you're discovering the true extent of the world's unfairness? Lol, you're in for a long ride.

  • @wistoncap Dude, thats fucked up. Do you know how many people join the military because they are poor? They can't get jobs and the military pays better than Mcdonalds. So why blame them?

  • @wistoncap Fuck em? They deserve any bad that happens to them?

I have to disagree, Seeing as how i'm in the military. Just because we work for the government does not make us bad people and doesn't mean we deserve bad things to happen to us.

Also the american government does bad things yes i know, we all know, But we do alot of good also. We help many countries, because they need it. I think we should let em die. but the government likes to help, so they help.

We do bad and good, so fuck off

  • @loverboy6667 The problem is the bad stuff that the military and government does gets hidden. As long as the tax payers are paying for every round shot and every tank built, we have a right to know what gets done in our name and on our dime.

  • @jschultzVII I disagree, civilians shouldn't get to know everything.

Cause 1. they didn't join. 2. there to mentally weak to handle alot of the shit we do.

    3. they get pissed when they hear the shit we do, cause they weren't there, and didn't have to face it.

Like if i told people, i killed a child. People would be like your a bad person, fuck you.

But in reality i killed him because he could of killed me or my friends.etc.

Civilians rarely think in terms of we did bad for good.

  • @loverboy6667 I have no interesting in judging the common soldier, I do have interest in judging the actions of the people who were running the war. Your assertion that the public is too mentally weak to handle information is laughable. So is saying that you have to be a part of the military to be privy to what we are paying for, it's absurd. They hide this shit because it exposes how inept military leadership and oversight is. They're not protecting anything by lying and hiding information.

  • @loverboy6667 there is truth to your statement....hell my nephew rifle butted a little afghani boy in the face while he was at the bazzar...the kid kept trying to pull the trigger on his rifle and grab at his sidearm.....he has 3 children of his own and is a loving father...if he told a stranger who didnt know him chances are they would think ill of him....but aside from that there is also sick twisted fucks enlisted as well man ive seen it first hand and im sure you have as well

  • @loverboy6667 Wow. you are so intellectually enlightened. Did the military teach all that great knowledge? Or did u just pull it out of your genius ass? Wish I could join your super special club. I wonder who finances your club?Hmmmmmmmm? Should the people who pay for the shit your club does get to know about them?Hmmmmmmmmmmmm? Hell know, we're too mentally weak. I cant even take knowing the earth is NOT flat. I'm too mentally weak. You are one step away from a Nationalist.

  • @loverboy6667 Being a soldier is something a few people can understand, i dont know what goes on but i know it isn't easy and it's hard when your faced with a civilian populace that sees things like Abu Ghraib, the Collateral murder videos and the Mahmudiyah killings. That being said soldiers should take care not to forget their humanity while at war or you wind up with psychopaths like Calvin Gibbs. I appreciate your sacrifice mate, but like you said it's never black and white.

  • @Remus0387

Soldiers are brutal murderers that kill for money. They are the scum of the earth. No group of people has caused more death and destruction in the history of our species than soldiers. I consider it a tragedy whenever i hear that innocent civilians die, but when soldiers die i just dont care because they deserve death just for being soldiers.

Also, there are no soldiers fighting for me or my country, they only fight for the interests of the top 1% and waste taxes i pay.

  • @loverboy6667 Ppl think you did a horrible thing cuz you didn't do it for the ppl you did it for the corporation. Iraq War was illegal, many soldier step down and they have my respect. If the government tell you to attack your own countryman to secure the nation while is to secure those in power, i bet you'll act as and idiot and kill your own countryman who you supposedly bow to protect. You are a doll with a rifle.

    >>>>Drop the rifle, stop working for CORP and get a real job.<<<<

  • @wistoncap I agree with you to some extent, but Bradley Manning is/was one of the good guys, we need good people on the inside to be the whistleblowers for this evil regime.

  • WTG YOUNG TURKS!!!! FREE BRADLEY MANNING!!!

  • who cares who he followed. I bet there where 100s more that doesn't mean a thing. Probably nbc, msnbc, fox. But they weren't said.

  • @jeffxl12 It specifically says he only followed 2 people....

  • @jeffxl12 The whole point of the video was that he was only following two people, one of them being the young turks...

  • How is he a hero exactly? Did we discover anything that we needed to know. As long as the military abides by the Constitution they should have privacy. It's kind of an important job unlike you hippie Starbucks baristas.

  • @bcourter82 Sounds like something O'reily would say. "The military is not a part of the government!"

  • @burneden What an ignorant statement. Check Section 8 - Article 1 of the Constitution. Read the whole thing actually.

  • @bcourter82 The military should have privacy on some things, but in a free society, they should not have blanket privacy on all things. That's a hindrance on freedom.

  • @DisturbedHavok Did I suggest giving the military blanket privacy on all things? No but nice try at a strawman.

  • @bcourter82 How do we know whether or not the military is abiding by the Constitution if they have privacy on it? They can say they are following the Constitution and therefore, need privacy on it but then how would we know? See how your argument is kind of circular?

  • They are going to make a example out of him.

  • This just shows that Transgendered Women can kick ass and change the world for the better

  • @loveofphysics

Much respect to the transwomen of the world.

  • THAT IS AWESOME; YOU GO YOUNG TURKS!!!

  • "My official position on wikileaks is that we in the press knew this stuff already: But if Manning had come to me I would have published it and any editor who said they wouldn't is a liar." Ian Hislop- Editor of Private Eye

  • @AtheisimCentral well if B Manning is transexual that does make them less of a man. It makes them a woman. If B Manning is transexual I hope she lives a good life after bravely leaking this information.

  • My boyfriend criticizes me for watching TYT religiously. Now any time he gives me any lip I can say, "oh im sorry, have your shows helped bring democracy to the middle east?...They haven't? That's funny, I was sure that The Real World would have won the Pulitzer by now." lol

  • I wouldn't shout too loud, TYT hq may be targeted by a military drone next.

  • @ScottishAtheist i think tyt HQ is at current now so that should help a little

  • @ScottishAtheist Nothing happened to Jon Stewart when he revived the 9/11 responders' bill.

  • He didn't deserve any consequences

  • I really worry for that young man. From what I've heard, military prison is bad.

  • Bradley Manning did the right thing and I salute his courage, but he knew the risks, and the consequences.

Perhaps people should concentrate on getting a govt that behaves in this way under control, so that the Bradley Manning's (& Timothy McVeigh's) of this world don't feel compelled to take such drastic actions.

Perhaps instead of constantly advocating the further empowerment of such a govt, you could honor Pvt Manning's bravery by taking an honest look at what a 'powerful' govt actually is.

  • Thanks TYT for the news story.

  • And? What does it change if he is a homosexual or a transsexual? Does it change the hardship he went through, and is going through, for blowing the whistle on evil and imperialism?

This is a filthy fucking character assassination, on the people who dug up his Transsexuality and/or homosexuality, what he does in the bedroom = his thing, doesn't make him less of a man, all I'm gonna say is you gonna have a lot of balls to do what he did.

  • Free Bernard Manning

  • Bradley Manning is an american hero

He showed the world how evil and corrupt america really is
