LOve your music Martin, saw you live once at Irving Plaza in NYC, great show and I was right up front, refused to move an inch to let anyone else have a chance to get so close...selfish me ! Anyway, thank you for the music, and your home is perfect ! BTW, I LOVE the Adirondacks too. Used to spend my summers at Paradox Lake, most beautiful place in the world. :-)

I've loved Martin's music for about 12 years now and met him like my 3rd show. I have since talked/hung out many a time and never once found him to be rude or arrogant. Maybe he was busy, running late, or something. Or maybe he had a bad day or there were traffic issues (NYC can have them). You just don't know. Everyone's human and everyone's gonna have a bad time/moment every now and then. Give him another shot - I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

The arrogance remark is on the mark,,

I was a totally devoted fan a number of years back and then I bumped into Martin as he was coming into a gig in NYC.

I was shocked how rude he was.

I stopped listening to his music, even though up to that moment I couldn't get enough of his sound.

As much as I loved his music, I did not want to support him in any way..After about a decade, I may go listen again but not with a smile..yet.

@CJPHOTO3 I met Martin after a show and while everyone was shaking his hand I asked for a hug and he smiled and opened his arms wide and gave me a geniune squeeze. He is a pure soul and you have to remember still in a human body, working out humanly issues that you may have witnessed on that day. You shouldnt take it personally! No one is perfect! So just forgive and forget cuz Martin's music is too good to give up! =) BlesSings!

What a treat! I've always wondered what Martin's personality is like, since he's so mysterious and kind of introverted on stage (aside from when he's singing).

Met him in Santa Fe, NM and when my girlfriend told him he was her brother's last musical inspiration before he passed away, Martin hugged her. I always thought that was very sweet.

At last, your long awaited vlog has arrived. Now despite the fact that I was never waiting for it because I never knew you were going to do it, it is now a more favorite than other favorites. It's like our run in at the bench outside Baystate Hospital in Spfld this summer. Unexpected and awkward for me, yes, but I'd rather chance playing ignorant to social norms and boundaries than pass up the opportunity to shake your hand and tell you that your song taught me to play and sing.
