yeah its a good "tutorial" the only flaw is that some of the keys she presses arent easily visible, shame this is one of few actual tutorials for this song.. :/

@CookyCrystal are you using the separate hand tutorials? if so, try to focus on the fingers, not the keys under them. imitation is the method.

also, do you think it is a good idea to learn to read music? i made 3 easy and fun lessons to get you started. once you understand the logic, it is just a matter of practice. good luck.

The choice is yours:

The Easy Way: Start learning to read one note a day. There are only SEVEN: A to G. They climb up and down like ladders.

The Hard Way: Match the notes on the sheetmusic one by one via Google Images Search: "music staff with notes"

I'm just sight-reading it. Can't play it at tempo w/o practicing. This slow pace shows the beauty of the song. I'll use Windows Movie Maker to speed it to tempo, then upload that. Be forewarned, the pitch will be an octave higher.

well for me, its not the speed thats the problem, its how you show the keys. your hand covers a lot of the keys [no offence] and you press the keys lightly, so i cant really tell what you pressed. ;[ sorry to be so fussy.

Hmmm, don't you think it's weird most others can figure out what keys I'm pressing, but not you? I've learnt not to blame others when things don't go right for me. Most of the time I'm the one messing up, and I would take steps to remedy the problem. Try the slow tutorials? If you can't follow these, my tutorials are definitely not for you. Good luck.

As for those of you who can't follow this tutorial, my method is Monkey See Monkey Do. Make sure you look at the fingers, not the keys. Also, learn from the SLOW tutorials, not this one.

Sorry, that would be extremely time-consuming. Can you supplement it with those tutors who use color bars running down and mark the keys? I don't have an electric keyboard or those programs. A combo would certainly be nice.

For your info, the tempo is as requested. The skipping around is to get the closest possible view. It would be far simpler not to have to do that.
