@xXBloodKittenXx I just found out you can copy the 3 folders of the materials (3d data, Material and Tone) and paste them in the folder where Manga Studio is installed (MangaStudio EX 4 and then open Settings and paste the folders there) You'll find all the materials when you open the program, and they all work :)

To install on windows 7 is:

-use the original iso

-mount it

-create a file name MSEX400

-extract all files from the mounted iso to MSEX400

-take that Material file from the video and paste it into the MSEX400's Material folder

-open up Manga Studio and select install from folder

-select MSEX400

-there u go

for those ho may be having problems downloading the materials, after extracting Manga Studio EX 4.0 - Materials.rar you then cut the content (Materials AND SampleData) and goto Master00d- EX4.0/Material/Settings then paste Materials and SampleData. Open up mangastudio, click install materials from folder, and then select Master00d- EX4.0 then about 9,575 items should install.

For some reason when I download and unzip, there are files missing from the "tools" folder. I try to install, but it says some ".dll" file is missing. and there was an "unexpected end of archive". Do you have any suggestions that might help?

@snjorRefur948 Rename the extracted materials folder that you get from megaupload "Material" so you can overwrite the "Material" folder extracted initially. [basically, copy paste the downloaded material folder to the one that was extracted with manga studio]

Now make sure the whole [AutoPlay, Help files, Material <<<, Autorun.exe...] folder is renamed "MSEX400", start up manga studio, it will prompt to install materials Click install from folder, Click the materials folder~

@boypaslot @snjorRefur948 you need to run it in compatibility mode. This is easy to do right-click the exe then select properties then go to compatibility then click the box then go down to the drop-down menu then hit windows vista. Hope this helps.

@CIDVICIOUS831 I work on win 7 and it worked for me, you need to extract the Manga Studio EX 4.0 - Materials.rar into Master00d- EX 4.0 folder, which you should have extracted earlier to install. So you should have Master00d- EX 4.0 folder with Manga Studio EX 4.0 - Materials folder inside it. Now renamed Master00d- EX4.0 to MSEX400. Open up mangastudio, click install materials from folder, and then select MSEX400 and DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE. Just click 'OK' and it will work. Any questions?

And for those of you who are having trouble, you need to put the materials folder into the folder with the autorun.

Then rename the folder holding all those, like @TheDoctorWolfenstein said, to MSEX400.

Then when you install the materials, find the folder, select it and click install, it should work!

I figured this out after having all the problems you all described.

Extract the main one with autorun first, then for the material rar, put it in the extracted folder, then extract it, if you get what I mean, then just try it again.

I figured out how to install the materials (Like this comment to make sure it's seen):

There is a folder that will be created (once extracted) which will contain the following folders: AutoPlay, Help Files, Manga Studio4_EZX, and Material...and several other things (but as long as it has those 4 folders, it doesn't really matter that much).

What you need to do is rename that folder to "MSEX400" and it -should- work.

Extract all the "Master00d- EX 4.0.rar" files into 1 folder, change FOLDER name to "Master00d- EX 4.0\rar", then just install from this folder. If you need more materials, put them in "Master00d- EX 4.0\rar/Materials" as well.

i got the materials to install, MATERIALS!!!!!= INSTALL THE MAIN FOLDER THAT HOLDS THE PROGRAM! (example, i made a folder in my program files titled, "Manga Studio". this is the folder i clicked on for it to work. i'm guessing the computones installed with it because i wasn't prompted to install them. i hope this helps someone!

After a few hours of attempting to install the materials, I've finally made some progress. Though to my dismay, another error comes up after I begin the installation of materials. "the computones plugin folder has not been installed". What the hell is the computones plugin folder? Why isn't any one else getting this?

Installed from the "Master00d- EX 4.0" folder and it worked. Then, I dragged the Computones folder from the material download into Material>Settings>Tone of the "Master00d- EX 4.0" folder, and tried again. There was a significantly larger material count the second time. Give this a try, it worked for me

THUMBS THIS UP SO EVERYONE CAN SEE IT!!!!

To those that are having a problem with the windows xp notice and nothing happens, to fix it:

1. open task manager (ctrl + shit + esc) and switch to the processes tab

2. arrange by name and scroll down to rundll32.exe

3. right-click end process on any of these that show up (there may be more than 1, I had 3)

this should fix it, the reason it happens is that the installer is a 16 bit application and rundll32.exe is blocking its execution.

I've put the file "Manga Studio EX 4.0 - Materials" (after extracting it) in the material folder of "Master00d- EX 4.0".

Theres also an another thing you need to do. go to your folder =>

Master00d- EX 4.0\Material\Settings\3D Data\09_3D Data CollectionVol1_School

then find "Principalüfs Room and Meeting Rooms" and change "Principalüfs" for "Principal". then things should work out prefectly!!! (its my second time downloading it,and had to do this again too!) just downloaded it, and have it all!

hum...maybe if you go on manga studio, then click "file" on the top-left. After look down, and then click "Install Material". (it will close the manga studio). Then you hav 2 choice to install your material. Chose "Install from folder" And go to the manga studio folder "Master00d- EX 4.0" It will then install all material.

Hope it will be okay~ I did it...and I think it did work (lol) if not...then this download isn't that good... I got to find my self how it work...and it was long :P
