@pgl0897 Yep, Beef and Tomato is a classic, and until the big salt reduction fiasco, one that was my joint favourite along with Chicken and Mushroom. Of course, back in the early days, Cheese and Tomato was where it was at, but that bit the dust some decades ago :-(
@horganator Wow, that's old skool. Cheese and Tomato is even before my time! Never even knew they did that. It's interesting about the salt reduction thing, coz I still find I need to wash one down with two pints of water so lord knows how much salt they were putting in them before!
Why doner noodle ? There stands the lovely, actual doner kebab in kebab places which can be found nearly every single corner in uk ? It is a bit different then the real doner though but who cares, its doner.
@FingonL Thing is, this isn't a replacement for a real doner, it's a substitute for emergencies when the real thing isn't available, and the question is, how good? This video is my answer.
Do try it without the sauce first to get a feel for the kebaby element. If you go straight in with all the chilli sauce you may as well be eating a Bombay Bad Boy.
@1ScouserNProud1 Now that's strange, as I've loved Pot Noodles since the beginning (especially the long-since discontinued Cheese and Tomato flavour), but Sweet and Sour has never done it for me. It's the only Pot Noodle I would pass don't like.
BTW, does anyone remember "Snackpot" made by KP? It went up against Pot Noodle in the early days and lost. I quite fancied it, but the public said no.
A very good review...I've got a couple in the cupboard...I had to watch some reviews before trying it...now I think I'll roll on down to Tony's...and find a sausage with a pen.
I like this pot noodle flavour i got it at asda i searched all the super markets for it and it was in asda trust me if you haven't tried right flavour go a head and eat eat eat Yum Yum
I found your review very helpful, thank you. I may try one myself. I also think that illiterate people should not make inane comments just for the sake of being offensive.
The way you say salt amuses me "sult" hehe

It is quite disappointing, it's nice and all - but just doesn't taste like it has anything to do with doner kebab. Oh well.
Still, I love pot noodle.
