  • That takes heart.. You kept on fighting..

  • Are these girls? All girls that do man sports are short-tempered... I guess it's their sort of way of becoming more competative?

  • a sneaky move, that was mean ;o

  • talk about a lack of control. it's sad that some fighters in this sport still don't have the self discipline that this sport is supposed to teach.

  • what a scumbag move. If I was a spectator, I would roundhouse kicked her fat ass out of the ring.

  • Aka, hansoku chui

    Aka, shikkaku

Man if this was the usankf that girl would be disqualified for life. its a good thing they video tape a lot of the fights now so we can see all the dirty things competitors do. if all competitors knew thier underhanded unsportsmanlike behavior would be viewed by all i bet they would all fight a little bit more fair.

  • Hey there, I did apologize for my shin hitting your head because it wasn't done on purpose. Your reply was "that was not nice" I then said it was an accident & I hadn't meant to hit your head & you replied "that wasn't nice". Our match was then restarted, you were mad & tried to take me down at that point. My attempt was to kick your body & I sincereley apologize for making contact with my shin to your head. I am sorry!

  • Ms. Sandra Farnsworth,

I don't know if that counts as a sincere apology, but I'm surprised to even get half of that considering all the "unflattering" emails/comments you've been sending me over the past month and a half.

  • I believe you are distorting the facts...

    1. All you said to me after the incident was that my butt wasn't down. Now it looks like the story has changed.

    2. Both before and after the match, I never did anything outside of the rules to you. Proof of this is in both full versions of the fight that I have publicly posted on here.

    3. Saying "that's not nice" after receiving a concussion, which caused me serious injury for up to a month afterwards, is really nothing.

  • I believe the issue here was, and correct me if I'm wrong, Jess, but you showed a rather strong lack of control in there. When the fight is stopped, you do not, under any circumstances, strike the other person. In addition, in the video, you see she is clearly on the ground, backside included. That is something that I, as a judge, would have immediately dq'ed you for.

  • Man when she kicked her it was lik BA BOOM kicked her head like a soccer ball!!!Dang that must have hurt.

  • I believe she still might apologize when

or if she see you again. I dont think she knew what happen until it was over, or now that there is video, If the Ref didn't say anything maybe she did know.

  • It seems to me if you look at the kick,

she was kicking to the body..

Her foot is at the middle of the body and the shin hit her on the head.

  • I guess it's possible.

But if that were the case, you'd think she would have pulled the kick or at least apologized.

  • I am blown away! I was there and my hats off to you Jessica for keeping your composure after realizing what she did to you. I am a senior womens fighter and I think I would have lost it later on with her.

  • That girl was RETARTED i would have Dq her the second i saw that she should be banned from NBL forever. Why would she do such a thing?

  • You mean she wasn't DQ?!?! That is insane! I received 5 low blows (to the back of the thigh) and the center ref told me, "I will never call that as a low blow because you are moving around to much. How is he suppose to fight you?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I'm glad you are ok, but some of the center refs had their own ideas of what the rules were.

  • some people just don't know when to quit!

  • thats just nbl for yah

90% of th jujes dont know what their doing in any division

  • I was in that division. The kicker chick should have been DQ ed. Jessica took some hard shots in some of the other fights too. That couldn't have helped her head either.

  • She should be banned from NBL. This just brings the sport down.

  • i would have thrown that lady out of the building.....that was just dumb as can be ..

  • i would have thrown that lady out of the building and would DQ her every time i saw her....that was just dumb....

  • also your concusion could have come from you hitting your head on the chair in another match or maybe it was the same match

  • I know what you are talking about I was fortunate not to have hit my head on the chairs even though I ran into them. My right forearm got banged up from the chairs, but I figured that was small potatoes compared to my concussion.

  • Untrained and inept refs is why this sport will always be second class. Jess you are one strong woman to even get back up plus you kept fighting. I hope you will ok.

  • This is back to rule number one of tournament competition..."Know the rules!" The other fighter wouldn't have kicked you while you were on the ground if they knew and followed the no ground fighting rule....It does not matter if the ref called STOP they shouldn't proceed after the other fighter is on the ground if they know the rules....it is just pitiful, no respect in it at all....thank you for this video, it will open many eyes.

  • actually in the NBL rules, i believe that you can still try to score when the other fighter is in the ground, no head shots.

  • The lady who hit me is actually an NBL judge, so it's not like she didn't know the rules.

  • thats dispicable....what nerve?

  • on a side note, at Amerikick 2008 I saw Robbie Andreozzi fight some guy and the guy kept through late cheap shots at Robbie. He got fed up and proceeded to beat the crap out of the other person with hard legal shots and would always stop when the judge called break. Robbie embarrased the other fighter and it was AWESOME because that other punk needed some humble pie.

  • i agree with all points in your video... but another lesson to referees... if they see a fighter taking a cheap shot like this after the judge calls break, that fighter need to be DQd. I've seen way too much of this unsportsperson cowardly conduct in my time and it often goes unchecked and it is disgusting. A lesson to you as well, never EVER trust the other person. ALWAYS guard your grill and keep the other person in your sight.

  • What's hard to see in the video is that my protective foot gear came off during the exchange. I was reaching for it to put it back on when she punted me, which is why I was in such a vulnerable position.

  • wow that was a cheap shot! how did you continue?

  • That's a good question... and I don't remember.

  • man! i can see why you would not!
