had the pleasure of meeting them just after they recorded their album. met them at the local amusement park and spent the day with them as my brother had ditched me and i was dining alone. they invited me to join them and at the end of the night i gave them my address and about 2 months later received a signed cd and shirt in the mail. :) awesome day with them! (I had - and still have - the biggest crush on Brigitta!)
yes i made a mistake and wrote 1993!!! when it was 1999!!! I had been thinking of all our favourite songs and 1993 4 non blondes whats going on was our favourite.
This was me and my best friends fav song back in 93/94 sadly she passed away 2005 due to cervical cancer aged just 36, so to all you who have best friends treasure and love them.xx
I'd completely forgotten about this song.... it doesn't seem like yesterday I was at school and everything seemed alright... it's funny how as you get old life doesn't seem as innocent!
I agree with you. Life was so innocent. When this song was out, I just started university. Had so many dreams, so much hope. And now years later still did not finish my study and still lonely as ever.
Hello Everyone! I like this group but I want the song "It's about time you were mine". If anybody has it or knows where is it please contact with me! Thanks from Cyprus! x x x x
I remember... along time ago when my ex-wife Anny and I went to Wales by car and we played this song all the way...the sun was shining, the wind was blowing....it was a perfect time..
Real shame they never made it big. They wrote and sang and played their own songs - and their only two released songs, this one and 'It's about time you were mine' were brilliant. Much better than the porn that is Pussycat Dolls.
Those were the days? Hardly. I do remember your wedding though I'm sure she won't want to be reminded that she spent time in the toilet hell-hole that was The Woodrow! The memory of that place has just re-opened old memories I thought I'd forgotten, I think I'll go kill myself now.....ROFLMFAO
Actually I do remember your husband wearing a pair of her knickers on his head in the dressing-room at a gig in Birmingham. Jane thought it was hilarious until she realised that they were actually hers........
Their label and managment 1st Avenue record went bust so all their artists including Louise Nurding and Eternal where dropped. So all Thunderbugs has was their main label Columbia but no management
Does anyone know what Jane is up to these days? If anybody has any info, old recordings, promo stuff, etc please get in touch. The album Delicious is great, shame they deserved to do better. Oh and Jane if you're single will you marry me? lol ;-)
I have a copy of the first demo tape that Jane ever did (signed too) but afraid I wouldn't let it go for anything :) last thing I heard is that she went to the USA to work as a backing singer for someone - that was a few years ago though!
I used to know Jane - she lived next door to my mum and I first heard her sing at a neighbours wedding. She was lovely and I love her voice. Just wish the band had done better!
Hey Ive just found a copy of the delicious CD - I cant tell you how good it is - I just fall in love with Jane's vocals again and again - Hey SouthDevon - If you see Jane - give her a big hug and a kiss from me.
I knew Jane as well 17 years ago, and have some of her early takes she gave to me, lost contact where are they now shame they did not make it big they were brilliant and could play instruments as well. bring them back
This was mine and my best mates tune and even though we are no longer friends i still listen to it to remind me of the old times....aww! Cant believe how old this song is though!
I loved these guys, I have this single with the vid on it & MISS THEM!! I desparately want their album & can't understand why the follow up "It's About Time" bombed.
Jeez, this song rocks. I've had it for ages but gave up trying to find the video. Hadn't thought to check here, cheers fabulae! You may have any of my internal organs when I snuff it.
I just finished doing my GCSE's and left High School and went onto College when this song came out in 1999. Great to hear this song after so many years. Memories flooding back. Shame they're not about anymore.
Great song. The whole thing has an 'american' look to it. Wonder why they never made it? Perhaps Britain was too engulfed by the Britney and Eminem pap by then
Nicky Shaw (drummer) is engaged to Eric clapton's Record producer Simon Climey (from Climey Fisher), and i know this coz she is my sister. :-). She has lost touch with most of the others except Brigitte the frizzy haired french guitarist, who is living in L.A and Paris.

Jane was THE hot one in the group, a stunning brunette whose glasses suited her down to the ground.
