this brought me to tears. 3 guys (1 senior and 2 postgrads) committed suicide this past summer. this year has been difficult for everyone. this song is so special to me...
i heard this song at church awhile ago they played it along with a clip, as a recovering addict it really hit hard reminded me exactly where i was heading how i am sitting here sane today is truely a maricle GOD IS GOOD!! We (addicts) are people also no matter the road we traveled.
this song is sooooo true.. just because someone messed up in life doesnt mean they need to be judged and treated badly.. they have a family that loves them.. and even if they dont.. God loves them and who are we to disrespect something that God loves the same that He loves anyone else

"Somebody's baby" is a very common lyric. It's not like the rest of the lyrics, which make up most of the song, are the same. It's a totally different song.
For some reason i'll never understand, i used to sing this to my puppies cradling them and whatnot. Ever since they were born and even though they have now grown up and left, i still associate this with them.

This song opens my eyes everytime i have the joy of listening to it...thank you God for putting this song in Jon Foreman to open our hearts and eyes....
