It's a port of VNsea (VNC for iPhone/iPod Touch) Work the same way, only it's been watered down to just the connection prefs and touch tracking. Calm down.

First you have to set up vnc which is sot of a pain in the ass but its worth it. vnc is really fun to screw around with other people trying to use the computer.

it works fine (with the Touch) and the installation was really simple.

I think it´s handy if you want to skip a transparency in powerpoint or so. But for that you need wifi, which is not avaible everywhere. You can also use your ipod as a remote control for pausing a dvd or so.

What about the multi touch event capturing? I know there are some docs floating around about the api for cocoa for using the macbook air's multitouch trackpad events swipe, zoom, etc.

It would be awesome to see this functionality open up a new dimensionality in interfacing paradigm.

current interfacing is a single point in a 2d space. mutlitouch broadens that into a possibility of fully 2d interfacing.
