The Difference is torque....

Lets say torque is "multiplied" by you gearbox. You can stay 500 rpm longer in the same gear, witch "multiplies" your engine torque.

1st gear pulls more then the 2nd gear(gear ratios difference)

the longer and further in 1 means, more pull.

The chip also creates more power by adjusting fuel, and ignition maps. till 7000 rpm, or if you like 6500 rpm.

If you think that 7000 rpm will detroy an engine vr6, then you should not race at all and never drive a 9000 rpm B16 powerd honda, because y oull probably drive it like it has a TDI engine.

The stock vr6 engine is capable to rev 7000 rpm with no problem, 450hp on the stock vr6 engine is no problem for the rods and pistons. I Tune vr6 engines every week. Used for cross, cirquit and street.

Te fuel pressure does drop when u hit the rev limiter? well it does in my alfa romeo and escort RS but the RS is on a aftermarket atm.

Die VR6 hören sich nur geil an... aber sind träge - hol nen Integra Type-R (der 1l weniger Hubraum hat) und er wird den VR6 zerstören!

wirkt sehr zugeschnürt dieser VR6. Gönn dem mal ne gescheide Auspuffanlage. Allgemein sind die VR6 in meinen Augen nichts. N 16V mit ordentlicher Einzeldrosseleinspritzung, aufgeladen oder nicht - ist doch immernoch das nonplusultra bei Vw.

Aus jedem Motor kann man viel rausholen, aber der VR6 ist in meinen Augen ein eher weniger geeigneter Motor.

cool zum cruisen und mit dumpfem Sound, aber zum schnell fahren bevorzuge ich weniger Gewicht oder Heckantrieb. d.h. Scirocco16V oder Bmw 325i

Ein BMW 850CSI mit 6 Gängen und V12 das ist ein Auto, aber der VR6 ist ja schon langsamer als ein Türken BMW 325i 24V haha
