  • posture is a static model.. this 'exercise' is only reinforcing or creating new unconscious muscular patterning.. not very helpful

if you truly want to engage 'your bodies natural reflexes' then theres very little you have to do other than be conscious of the way your mind and body organizes itself for thought, movement, etc. you have to inhibit the unconscious patterning first and become conscious of your relationship to the present.

  • Man every video you upload is helpful/insightful/informative, thanks for your time.

  • this really works, and fast. thanks! surprising that such a simple exercise could be so helpful. I remember you posting a link to a site with some pressure points under the feet, Brandon. On Facebook, but I lost the link. Do you know what I'm talking about? I'm interested in seeing that again.

  • @gemgus87 im not sure which link you are referring to...

  • @herbgardner00 posturedoc found out, it was bubbling spring

  • @gemgus87 It was probably the bubbling spring episode on core wellness tv. search for "bubbling spring" on my site. You can go there from my channel.

  • @posturedoc I think that was it. Thanks!

  • Hey, I tried ordering 16 ounces of Gynostemma from your site but shipping fee is pretty outlandish. $12 for 16ounces?

  • @hunnedfourthstreet international shipping isnt cheap and thats the cheapest option. even then 12 doesnt cover all of the cost, we cover some as well.

  • @herbgardner00 I don't know where you got international from, I live in the states.

  • @hunnedfourthstreet i see, please email me from the hyperion website and i will work this out for you

  • @hunnedfourthstreet hi there, apparently there was a mis-setting in the cart which i have fixed now, so everything should be ok. shipping for 16 oz is only 6.00 now. thanks!

  • Flamenco dancing will be great for this

  • I was skeptical of such a simple technique but it works so well! Also, your new site and products look great man, good work.

  • Thais is great! So simple and so true.

  • Thanks very much for sharing this. Poor posture is something I have struggled with for a long time, being 6"4.

  • This is quite helpful,You should check out the Esther Gokhale method,it changes the way you look at posture.

  • hmm.. this seems to be too easy for me to get it.. :(

Is this just the intention you keep..? Obviously you don´t have always surfaces around to push your hands away from.. different with the feet of course. The subtlety of this "exercise" makes it hard for me to know if i m doing it right?

  • @TheHelenNo ...yes it's all about the intention. you can imagine support points and it works just as well. Find your inner mime. It's funny but so true.

  • Cool! Makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

  • Thanks. This was very helpful and needed by me. I find I have the tendency to slouch. This is so simple to comprehend and execute.

  • This is great, for all, and also very helpful for people who have been debilitated physically and are looking for a starting point back to physical strength. I hope everyone tries it. Isometric exercises like this are a godsend for people who think they can't exercise because of old age or acquired weakness. it really does feel good too!

  • @PrincessAloeVera...Exactly. Most of my students are surprised to realize that they can actually get a wonderful workout with such simple movement. It's all about the small details. Little hinges swing big doors.

  • Lately I've been focusing a lot on improving posture and also came across this guy. People can check out posturedoc on youtube.

  • This is some fantastic stuff!

    Thanks for sharing! :)

  • It works because truth is truth! It's how we got vertical to begin with! Like Casey Kasum used to say every Sunday on "American Top 40..."Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars!" So get in tune with your support points and push away! Thanks for posting, Brandon.

  • Wow. thank you soo much for posting this. I've been having such hard times with my back and posture. No pills, no other methods was helping me.

  • shoulders are key

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, thanks again man.

  • Can you do this against a wall?

  • @Teknolaizz anything you can push away from. even an "imagined" support point!

  • @posturedoc Thanks, that's interesting.

  • I recently figured out how to relax more using I guess the same technique and it's really helped me feel better

  • Informative and entertaining.
