@ daanyboy...this is some of our spiritual and gospel influences Hausa, Fulani,
Ashanti, Akan
Yoruba, Igbo, Ife, and Angola just to name a few...at least this is in the Gullah/Geeche families to which I belong in South Carolina on the Islands and some inland in America
This is very nice music, take me back to my roots. Here is new Hausa music I am the future and it is old music like this that paved the way for me and everyone else. Enjoy !!! Leave feedback
We need to show case more proper traditional Hausa Songs on You Tube.most of this music videos we see now are corrupted by the influence of Indian & Pakistani music.Sabida Allah yan war, please post some REAL traditional wakokin Hausawa for us and give the world our best!!!
Wow you're great man. I agree with this....What happened to real Hausa music???? All this Indian/Pakistani influenced junk upsets me. We need people like Harouna Goje, we need real Hausa Music.
You should stop leaving in the past. What is real Hausa music? This music was of a different age, we have since moved on. The songs by the people of this age is the real Hausa music NOW. More over, what is indian about today's Hausa music? Is it the language, cloths, style, culture? What? May be you should stop using the computer since it isnt traditionally not Hausa. Wake up!!!!
U only C wat u want 2 C. No culture is static or develops in isolation. The ability 2 domesticat other cultures made English cum the dominant cultures of the world what they re. And I rpeat their is nothing alien in todays Hausa music than necessary. That is wat ppl 2day want & that is wat they r getting. Meanwhil, if u insist on askin 4 the past, its ok. hop u find it?

Moving on isn't adopting the culture of someone else, that's not being yourself.
