Yes, although flexibility (of putting your straight legs on your chest) will help you do it, the most important thing here is the strength in your shoulders. I saw the video you posted in your channel and congrats!, that press was awesome, so you are strong. Now try holding the squat support for 10 to 20 sec with straight arms, so that only your hands touch the ground.

Planche?!!...no need to to be that strong. Being flexible and strong on your shoulder openers will certainly help you on the pike press...just like having long arms will help too, if you start from a sitting L position

is their a trick to doing it with locked arms i mean ive done it like 3 times before with awesome form but i can only do it on certain days i can do it with bent arms like so easy tho i could do it with bent arms for like a mth hahaha, but yea any tips?

The hardest the press into the handstand is, (normal press, pike press, japanese style sitting position or the japanese style into the japanese handstand -the hardest-), the more stress your shoulders are going to have, ...so my shoulders have to become stronger first if i want 2 B able 2 do them.
Being able to do a strong and easy pike press makes it easier to do it in different positions and even on top of things. thats why circus performers pay attention to the little feats of strenght so much. building from the bottom make the top alot higher
your pike press is ok, but u should try it from different positions. like in the japanese style sitting position, from a split etc, also pressup and lower it back down without touching the floor, hold, then press back up. these build shoulder power and can be done both piked and straddled which is a bit easier.

why don't you try using your shoulders. I would say, a pike press is 90% shoulder and 5% six-pack ;-)
