This clip really opens up many insights that I wish I had 20 years back! I did all of those things he talks about: work hard, stay out of trouble, go out of my way to help others. Whereas when companies hire, they are looking for people who will contribute to their future. A resume that presents a futuristic story of what you can do for the company is lot stronger than one that mostly dwells on the past.
