one thing i noticed though is your added cut does double the damage that mine does =/ well your just normal attacks do double what mine do but your deathblows do the same.
i use a PAL copy could that be why?
but basically on mine deathblow does 4* the damage a normal attack does (which is half of what you seem to do)
I somehow beaten this guy on 1 turn today. I'm still kinda shocked, but at least i get to fight Hojo again.

anyway i managed to beat it last night along with the rest of the game =]
i think 9:47 is good for my first ever speed run :D
and i beat my target of 10 hours so my next run I'm aiming for 9:30

To remove his physical immunity you have to use 2 Limit Breaks (you'll notice he starts the countdown after the second Limit Break).
