Cool video. I worked at this station for 3 years, and I will miss seeing the stacks! The government shut this station down for environmental/political reasons, now they are screaming that there is a shortage of power in Ontario! So now we purchase power from the States that is produced by coal fired generation. Does this make any sense?
"The Four Sisters" were a sailing landmark for folks coming back to Toronto from Youngstown, Rochester, Buffalo, Port Dalhousie and Kingston. Now that they and the coal-fired power plant are gone, OPG is planning on building a natural gas-fired power plant to replace it's lost capacity.

This plant was a major source of smog in the GTA. It will not be missed in that regard.
