It looks great. Just having trouble deciding if the "grainy" look that appears in some blu-rays is the TV (and thus a setting on the TV) or something else.
I went with an Oreimo calendar. It wasn't my first choice since I was more hoping for a Madoka calendar with a backup Squid Girl calendar but those disappeared from Amazon so I had to start over. Probably for the better since I ordered a Madoka wallscroll.
Since the prices have gone up, I ended up not getting a second one.
Just stripped the CSS protection and literally copied the files off of the DVDs onto the server without reprocessing the video. It takes up a lot more space but at the same time is a guaranteed accurate copy so I can completely explore the DVD itself without having to dig out the physical disc.
Absolutely beautiful apartment! You did so awesome making it a bright happy place, and your decorating skills are epic! I think your apartment will be what I daydream about when I need a happy place to visualize. :D
Really nice progress so far man, with C81 under way, anything from there that you're hoping to ship? My interests are mostly with Carnival Phantasm and the game releases (such as the Touhou game that features Youmu in a hack and slash, or the Touhouvania'esque game apparently getting a re-release).

I really want to do those as well! The problem with the hentai is that some of them are very NSFW on their covers and they're not reversible. Have to figure out how to censor certain parts of the cover to keep the video appropriate.
And, of course, the issue with the figurines is just that there's some that still aren't set up yet. But both of those I should be able to work on!
I'm sure with some good knowledge and a high quality video editing software you'll be able to censor them. I'm surprised that US released H have mature covers, I thought they where all censored (They are over here). I just hope that there isn't too much that you have to censor, a DVD with massive white splodges over it isn't very nice to look at.

They're to the side simply because I haven't found the right solution yet. While putting them in a chassis would be nice, that's what I originally tried to do and they took up way too much space. But the little blocks holding them now came from that chassis.
The truth is that I really need a chassis solely for HDD mounting ; no room for a power supply or motherboard. I'm not sure if they make those.

2. Are you asking for my computers' specs? I don't directly remember those, unfortunately. The three I directly use are TV, Gaming, and Bedroom. The Bedroom computer is the oldest, I think 3GHZ dual-core? The specs on Gaming are slightly higher. TV should be higher than bedroom but it doesn't currently have a graphics card.
The more interesting computers would be the ones I indirectly use... Minecraft, Anime, and NotAnime.
4. That's actually why I was reluctant to start watching Modern Magic Made Simple like I was talking about in my previous Anime Analysis. Turns out it really depends on the anime since I was able to follow that one just find while doing other stuff.
5. The TV wallpaper is actually from Touhou Project, in particular the final bosses from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Perfect Cherry Blossom, Imperishable Night, Immaterial and Missing Powers, Phantasmagoria of Flower View (I think?), Mountain of Faith, and Subterranean Animism.
Well I know the first thing I'd do is talk to my insurance company. As interesting as it might be to replace the entire collection in one massive purchase to Amazon, it's something I'd rather not have to deal with.

They're to the side simply because I haven't found the right solution yet. While putting them in a chassis would be nice, that's what I originally tried to do and they took up way too much space. But the little blocks holding them now came from that chassis.
The truth is that I really need a chassis solely for HDD mounting ; no room for a power supply or motherboard. I'm not sure if they make those.

It did. I replied with the recipe I used. :)
Basically a double recipe that's on the Libby's canned pumpkin with two additions. I replace the Ginger with half Allspice and half Nutmeg and there's usually enough extra material for a third, smaller pie so I get a regular-sized crust (the recipe lists two deep-dish pies.)

Pretty much random places. I bought some from my local Hastings a long time ago, some I've picked up at a local "comic shop" ("nerd shop"?), the one I'm putting over my doorway I ordered from Amazon, and I bought some from a Reddit user that was selling some of his stuff.

It's my favorite kind. I knew moving out that I'd want to bake it so I practiced one more time with my mom. Thus far I've made three double batches since moving out.

Mine are pretty good since I do about 40 hours a week. A lot of that was mostly being at the right place at the right time, though. I'm not sure if somebody going into the field would necessarily find a job like this, especially since both people I know who also graduated with a BS in CS from UT have faced rather different struggles.

2. Are you asking for my computers' specs? I don't directly remember those, unfortunately. The three I directly use are TV, Gaming, and Bedroom. The Bedroom computer is the oldest, I think 3GHZ dual-core? The specs on Gaming are slightly higher. TV should be higher than bedroom but it doesn't currently have a graphics card.
The more interesting computers would be the ones I indirectly use... Minecraft, Anime, and NotAnime.

4. That's actually why I was reluctant to start watching Modern Magic Made Simple like I was talking about in my previous Anime Analysis. Turns out it really depends on the anime since I was able to follow that one just find while doing other stuff.
