I have the blue dialed version but unfortunately it came with the silicon band, I would have largely preffered an SS one ... I paied about 200$ shipped for it about one year ago. Rock solid, tritium tubes are still fresh , saphire crystal, great value !
It looks like a great watch. Thanks for telling us the price (looking up MSRP on Google is annoying), and thanks for showing it to us in the dark! Oh wait; nevermind.
I am going to continue ripping my hairs out because I cannot find one single video review of a Tritium watch in the dark. Oh. My. Goodness.
How difficult is that?
Now I have to go buy one just so I can see what it's like. Honestly, I really want to see the Tritium vials in a watch in the dark on a YouTube video. Please.
Your not seeing a video demonstration of tritium because it is not bright enough to be picked up by most consumer cameras/camcorders.
I mentioned at the 6:30 mark exactly why I was not showing it in the dark. If you listened to my commentary you would have heard this. Oh wait....nevermind.
agreed. the color balance is off on your video, but the story of the watch is clear. traser watches and the like from swiss manufactures are and have been dominate for a reason. your shown watch is no longer manufactured, but will always be supported by this company. For info on other products other than "mb microtec' these are inferior castoffs from the stated above. (but still quality units) ie: uzi, smith and wesson and the like. units that do not meet specs of military mils.
good review. mentioning wrist diameter is important when showing a watch on the wrist to allow a potential buyer to gauge the size. nice work. this video in part is what led me to purchase a traser 6506 commander.
Thanks dga223. Upon getting your comment I looked at this video again. I may have to re-shoot this vid (have new camera). The focusing and color accuracy is horrible! Sorry for the quality, but happy it helped you.
I like that watch I my self bought a UZI watch with trillium , I think ill buy the one like you have It looks good on your wrist , I think it could pass for a dress watch...hey you never know
