Ive surfed virginia beach like 3 years ago im from nj and it was pretty good when i was there but nj is were its at andy irons was at squan surfing bill the east coast waves are the hardest to surf cause there a short fast as hell ride and most of them are steeeeeeeeeep as fuck

Yeah, east coast waves suck pretty bad, at least if you r in the Chesapeake Bay area, currents and stuff r weak there, but if you go north or south of the bay they are decent.

I've lived here since last Oct. and this about 100x better than the best waves I've seen here. Granted I'm in the navy and get stuck on the boat a lot (and miss a lot of the good swells), but I don't know how you guys do it. Life as a surfer here is a lot like talk common sense with Nancy Pelosi.
