  • this .... is .........insane .

  • Impressive brother, very very nicely done

  • the independence of your hands is truly phenomenal. You think polyphonically, with each hand, and your playing is exemplary for improvisation.

  • this is excellent! I was wondering though, since I'm getting a harmonium very soon & this video pretty much demonstrates the sound I'm looking for & capacity, is there anything special about it that I should watch out for? (I'm not an organ player so I have to ask haha.) I'd be super grateful for any answer! Thanks!

  • sounds like accordion.

  • Have you got notes for this compose?

  • is it self pumped?

  • Whoever gave this less than 5 stars is just a hater. Excellent!

  • amazing!! 5*

  • 6 stars!

  • PHENOMENAL !

I know by experience how hard it is.

    Five stars !

  • good show!

do you do weddings, barmitzvahs and funerals?

  • What is the title of this music?

  • wow sounds like scary music from a silent 1920's film

  • looks like good exercise! Used to play a big one of these in a church by our place in Wales. Mr Grand Father bought it for the church in the 50's, one of the bellows broken, it was replaced, and a few year ago they had a tidy up and chucked the old girl out!

  • I really want a harmonium.

  • So, buy it. I doing it yet.

  • Wow, 't is net een draaiorgel om te horen. Knap gespeeld!

  • frostbitten harmonivm blizzard

  • Dude, you are my hero.

  • wow.

  • Brilliant. Very enjoyable.

  • why in front of virtuoso's playing, some fool has to add his toitally stupid comment.

  • all the fool's doing is showing what HE's about.

  • ... ... No ?

    ... I'ts not sped up...

  • hahahhah it does look like the motion in the video is jumpy. i can see how it might look sped up

  • I'm in love with your hands.

  • Mis à part le stride, y'a pas trop grand chose que des plans d'accordéon: pas grand chose de nouveau en somme...

  • wow

  • truly is amazing

  • God given talent

  • what a great hands

  • amazing1!

  • Truly AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing.

  • Phenomenal.

  • aaaah sorry, he is using his feet to pump the air in..

  • Good performance. Please let me know where I can buy this leg harmonium. Is it variable scale

  • wow! very beautiful, thats hard to keep a steady pump and play really fast. Play more!!!:)

  • what a shamefully small-minded comment

  • True dat.

  • your quick as lightning

  • How come some keys move without you touching them?

  • there is an octave coupler stop key, which coulples the notes with the notes one octave lower, so there's more bass sounding.

  • The move due to an octave coupler, which essentially mechanically links one single upper octave key with its lower octave twin. Essentially it allows you to hit one note and play two.

  • How much do harmoniums cost and where can i get one?

  • I got mine for 25 euro.. in excelent shape! :) I was very lucky though, and I haven't yet heard a better sounding one either. I love it to death.

They are very cheap in general though. At least, in europe..

  • usually churchs which used them 1 century ago want to throw them. You can try to ask them to buy their instrument for $50...

  • i even bought a 2 manual instrument for 110 $

    :P

  • how long did it take you learn to play the instrument like this? It's absolutely wonderful

  • all improvised at the very moment? very good. great virtuosity too! The harmonium is such an underated instrument...

  • yep, woops, heard already better for pump harmonium than this one.. so much repeat the same figures.. besides a regular hand-arm turning.. to the nose(?)

  • Very good, a catchy melody!

mrpossibilities, he is just playing kind of Alberti bass in left hand, and a melody in right. But it is realy impressing piece!

  • SUPER! is it a kind of automatic octave?

  • Thanks.Yes,the octaves are coupled

  • This would be much better on a pipe organ this poor instrument can barely handle the stresses put upon it by this interesting music--like a while gypsy dance.

  • Amazingly his left hand is more active than the right, as opposed to what most pianists and keyboard players tend to lean towards. It's almost a kind of stride thingie. Hard, very hard.

  • this is beyond the limit. clapping

  • This guy is amazing...! Guys like him are not born anymore...! A "Must Watch" for anyone who knows/loves a keyboard instrument. Highly recommended..!

  • mi ricordi il trioamaro

  • RTYELM TU8IOUO UI

  • It's like Phillip Glass met up with some Gypsies and composed a theatre piece.. LOVE IT!!

  • fascinating but tedious

  • Ibsenstein wot u want?? standardisation??? lets c u do better. timhrmn well you a lot better than me at it.

  • love it!

  • poor performance (recording AND player), so much repeat-repeat + WRONG notes ..there is better to watch on Youtube. (Stockholm)

  • Seems like it might be fake.

  • I can assure you, it is not fake, it's real

  • Waw ! Please post more videos about harmonium; we are a couple of harmonium lovers on YouTube ! And if you want, look at an other harmonium being repaired on harmonium[dot]le-blog[dot]info.

PS : What mark or model is your isntrument ?

  • It's a Kasriel.

  • really nice

  • 'm not so convinced.. about this harmonium and its player..

  • Well I must say.. I listened again.. I am also not convinced.. though, I do believe Tim is a very good improviser on comon piano (he was actually my former student, so I think I know what I am saying

  • Wunderbar! Ich denke, ich sollte auf meinem Harmonium mal auch mehr so Sachen spielen und nicht nur fromme Kirchenchoräle!

  • ..maybe you should just do reverse.. play more Bach and improvisations in the great(Protestant)tradition, sir.

  • very good,..foot pumped harmonium is an interesting instrument

  • Fantastic!!!

  • I enjoyed this
