You are so brave. What can the children of those afflicted do? Nobody knows about ALS unless they are unlucky enough to have a loved one with it. They like me, with my mother, recently afflicted, share awareness and race like hell. To find a cure or raise money. I've enjoyed your podcasts and hope you live another holiday, i've learned to enjoy my parents every day and I hope others will too.
I wish I could be as optimistic as you and live in the moment, enjoying what I can enjoy.
But I have a tendency to get depressed and stressed out and I find myself focusing more on the things I can no longer do rather than enjoying whatever I still can do (which is quite a lot). It's really hard to change.
Maybe you can do a video on how to change your thinking someday?
Anyway, I'd like to mention that I'm not diagnosed.. they're still searching.
