I'm a huge biggie fan, got both his albums. I'm a huge Jay z fan, got all of his albums too, even the ones with r kelly. So when I heard him say these lines, i took it as him paying homage to big, not biting lines. Because he makes it so obvious not that he's using Big's lines. He's a smart dude. He wouldn't jack lines without knowing that people would catch it. "I wish I never met her at all." It's obvious that he's using carl thomas' line but he makes it his own. Not a biter, he's a writer.
