i was there, and i saw them in Lyon few month before, and i assure you this gig was really poor.

it was just mechanic, not a single bit of energy (yes!).

they were glued by drug problems (their drummer sold heroin to one of their roadies who dies of an OD).

i know this vid looks good, but it's far from what they were able to do at the time.

i saw them later, it was really better.

Yeah Billy is such a good improvisor! I love bands change it around a bit but still stay true to the song. It's good to freshen songs up sometimes or they appear robotic if they are just identical to the recorded version.
