  • Tarantulaguy I got a few questions: I bought locusts yesterday for my L.parahybana and G.rosea but they'dont know what to do with it :S I mean I used to feed them crickets but they were all dead and pretty old in the store...So I bought a box of locusts. But they''re afraid of it! When I feed them they are touching it but they dont eat or lol...

  • ty kurwo:)

  • its funny T's dont bother me but those bugs creep me out like crazy

  • GBB's are pretty voracious eaters even at sling stage huh? I wanna get one as a sling about an inch maybe 1.5"... and also a Cyclosternum Fasciatum if they are fast growers which I've heard they grow pretty quick. Those are the two slings I want soon.

  • what a nice feeding video :)

  • any Avicularia Versicolor on the way?

  • @BiGWAGS11 2 sacs on the way.

  • why do u keep some of your T's in small containers and some in huge glass tanks

  • @Purestrnoob9 Depends on the Sp and size, a 3-4" P. metallica in a 5 gal tank wouldn't be a good idea since it would be harder to find its food, but a 5-6" female would.

  • what time do u feed them?? when they active?

  • what was the 2nd T called the one u said is awesome

  • Hey Rob what does power feeding mean exactly?

  • @drewplommer power feeding is feeding a T heavy to foirce a molt and make them grow faster!@

  • How often do you feed your tarantulas?

  • Rob are GBB a good starter species, ive studied a lot of stuff on them. any gbb breeding projects coming up? i may be interested

  • I am breeding 2 more females!!!

  • Sweet man i love how they web from the ground up i kinda wanna raise one from a sling, ive got a couple containers that are like 20-50 gallons so he'd be in a mansion. those are for when hes older ive got a 5 gallon and a sling case, just need substrate and a roach colony!

  • hey rob gbb's are half terrestrial half arboreal right?

  • I have kept them both ways, that is what makes them so cool!!

  • i wish my rose hair would eat

  • @joshfukkinb hes about to molt

  • 2:41 OWNED! XD

  • i also LOVE your vidjas!!! what city might you be in??

  • Columbia IL

  • is the third one Acanthoscurria geniculata? ive listened very hard, and i cant make out what you say... it dosnt sound like thats what you said, but they look very familiar....

  • ...it is, i finally hear it... male geniculata...... id like to get an avic minatrix, posibbly a p. regalis, deffinitly a p irminias, a few diffrent brachs, and a g pulchra, and pulchripes( i npressently have an unsexd smithi-my first one, rip, avic avic, a g rosea that is mean, and a just purchd versa sling, id say is on his 3rd or 4th shed... i think his enclosure may be too big, but he seems to be doing just fine...he also super calm, i love him!!

  • (i also want a scolopendra of some sorts)

  • That wa a "Avicularia versicolor"

  • do you recommend them because I know for a fact that I am going to get a T. Blondi and hopefully a P. Matalica

  • man those were bad ass, thanks for posting this

  • Feeding is one of the most fun parts of keeping T's :)

  • the first t didnt even jump, just leaned over. jesus..

  • Rob, i received news that the P.nigricolor is dangerous to your personal health. I highly suggest mailing her to my house. :P

  • LOL - that would make me want to keep it more LOL

  • Hmm me thinks you like feeding them!

  • rob i have a mature male golden knee if you need one to breed

  • My female is nowhere near breeding size!!

  • whats the 2 first tarantulas name

    i am really curious

  • tht is "Pamphobeteus nigricolor" & "Pamphobeteus machalla"

  • BAM!! HEH HEH HEH HEH :P

well, this was really interesting to watch :)

  • THIS IS RIGHTEOUS!

  • Wow all of your spiders are beautiful!

  • lol! i love how excited you get in everyone of your videos its amazing! lol <3

  • You know... That I love nothing more than seeing an animal such as a Tarantula enjoying a nice, fat, healthy roach! That's why we breed em n feed em... and I'm pretty darn sure that your furry 8 legged buddies agree!

The most enthusiastic feeding of any group of animals I've ever seen/heard btw! LMAO!

Good job to your little helper as well!

    -Ian

  • beautiful. even more fun to watch them hunt in the wild.

  • lol rob you REALY like to watch your Ts feed, dont ya :D

always funny to hear you chuckle when they nail the roach ;)

  • Hey Rob what is that second spider in the vid, its beautiful and I want to get one now lol.

  • That is a Pamphobeteus machalla...beautiful T!! They only keep those colors as slings....check out some pics online of the adults - the mature male is unbelievable looking!!

  • Nice feeding, GBB enclosure vid would be awesome.

  • I have one already LOL

  • really nice footage of the Irminia

  • Hey what did you say that black one was. The one right before the GBB.

  • That is a P. irminia

  • great feeding montage!

  • bem,bam!!LOL

    nice1

  • my versi is the same way...very hungry, they create amazing webs aswell, gotta love em

  • I have 2 questions

1: what substrates do you use?

2: where do you get those flat containers for your slings? the clear ones

  • I use Eco-earth sunstrate, and i get the containers at the containerstore(DOT) comm

  • Chaco gold knee's are my favorite type of tarantula, mine's so gentle and docile i would let it roam around my house on its own if i didn't have to worry about stepping on it or it falling from a high place.

  • Insane how long it takes that chaco golden knee to mature, my male got his mature molt just a few weeks ago and is a little over a year old.

  • You don't know shit!!! He had a hide, and planted tank but he likes to burry it, so I took it out, it is the way he likes it, A.genetics don't ever hide, always out......

  • Why so angry, you shouldn't let stupid people get to you Rob.

  • I hate people who assume LOL

  • my bad. i thought they need a piece of wood or something, coz they like to build their own "hide". but you know better

  • na, my bad...I over reacted a bit. You just can't tell what someone means by a comment sometimes.

If he wanted a hide, he would make his own but he never has - he always just sits right in the front like that, waiting for food. LOL

  • I love the blues! That color is amazing. Great feeding video Rob!

  • I really enjoyed that video Rob really cool I love chaco golden knees too I don't currently have one but someday I hope to have 3 or 4.. just great video man. on your next T feeding video can you mostly have your slings in it cause I think that would be cool cause I like watch slings eat too.

  • I love these videos. Rob, I have only 4 T's, do you think that's too small a collection to start a roach colony? I hate going to get crickets every week.

  • 3:35 Nom

  • boom !!!!

  • youre P.irmina have big fangs!

  • BAM!!! :D

  • nice vid mahn

  • I think the best part of all the feeding videos is Robs sinister laugh when the T nails the roach. Never gets old. Haha

    Nice work dude

  • Rob im going to send a photo of my tarantula to you and i hope you can tell me what type it is. It looks like the 2nd t in this video to me. Thanks matey.

  • These vids are always awesome, but a part of me can't help but feel sorry for the roaches, LOL. Roaches are nasty though, If i saw one IRL I wouldn't hesitate to step on it and kill it. Might as well make it a nice meal for a T.

  • awesome feedings rob. that versicolor is amazing lookin. but have to agree T. blondi's are the best! see ya saturday

  • Awesome!!!!

    5*!!!!!!!!

  • Wow this was awesome!
