The thing about this game was that damn in cabin music. That stuff is unnerving. It reminded me alot of the music from games like Uninvited, which gave me nightmares back then. It didnt help all these years later when i heard this music in some video 'welcome to the doll house', i think i saw that on YTMND.

This game used to freak me out when I was a kid. I never quite knew what to do beyond saving the kids and other counselors back then... I still don't really know and there's that lingering uneasiness from my childhood that still keeps me from playing this again now... no matter how silly and old it is.

@Scouter9001 Half of the notes you'll randomly find in this game are (throw offs) intentionally put there to take you away from your one and only goal, (getting the torch and beating jason), many times when you go where the notes tell you to go it's a dead end, (especially when advancing from one knock down to the next) that guy got that note from hitting the first house on the lake then going straight to the house in the woods for the second note, not hard believe me, this game is pure strategy

@Scouter9001 I'll tell you this too, if you can't beat jason when he's at full speed, then fight him outside, (if he calls you to a house, not including the lake, then enter the house & exit again immediately) then he'll be forced to fight you outside, (outside he always takes more damage because you can hit more times at a faster rate) if you're called to the lake though obviously you have to fight him there, there are many ins/outs to this game, even though it's for NES it's still very complex

But he did take unnecessary damage. He was hit by a zombie at 2:46 when in the woods. I also find that the character doesn't throw the torch that fast in the game. Maybe in the 2D parts, but definitely not in the fights with Jason in the cabins. You simply can't hit him that many times that fast.
