@evildraconian the trick to the oil stained wolf is he pauses just before he eats its at that time you tame.

Once I saw this vid.. I went out looking to tame almost anything kind of pet I can think of with unique skins.. what others besides the list above have you manage to tame.. Also could you put up a vid for the Ghost paw runner.. and Any thoughts on the Corrupted Blood talon Raptors?

I'm pretty sure that it does NOT work in 4.2.... I've been doing exactly what this video (an all other sources) is saying to do. When I log back in I still only have 1 wolf, not two, and that 1 does not have the sword in his head.

@LumiyaTheHunter Hey man i discovered a really cool bug today, I used camoflague right before server restart and now i dont have the buff but still in camoflague. So now i can mount up and do other stuff that usually breaks it.

I have a question.. What is your latency? I've done this over and over, matched it to a tee and I still can't get it right--everything is the same except right before he disappears I can see the red targetting circle turn green for a split second, which doesn't happen in your video... So I'm assuming either it doesn't work anymore or it's because of low latency.. :*( I had my friend try and he's encountering the same problem.

I've been trying for over an hour to get The Lone Hunter, and it hasn't worked at all whatsoever. I'm following your example to a tee. /script PetAbandon() on a keybound macro, tamed normally once, dismissed, then started mashing the macro key at 2 seconds to finish... Nothing.

Does this still work, I did it a month ago for the oil staned wolf and it worked fine but recently the pets arent showing up at all after tame

yea im having issues taming him like this he will disappear when i use the macro but when i log (either just log or exit completly) the wolf isnt on my screen and isnt in my 5th spot when i log in =(

Still works but since 4.1 if I die anywhere the buffs go like they do in Arena so take caution.

I went around the world with a friend of mine and did this trick to catch em all. and he took the Ghostpaw runner into a Heroic and it turned back into a normal wolf.

@TheCurlyCub Hmm, that must be an exception. I've brought Lone Wolf into raids, but his effect persists through death. I just use the ghostpaw runner when i'm chilling around org.

@Joachim270392 yeah that's right, I have Princess and sometimes if i died prior to 4.1 I either kept the bow or lost it, now since 4.1 it's 100% - you lose the visual effect.
