  • These people they are talking about were Mulattos who were privileged because they were the son/daughter of the slave masters..And becuase they looked dam near "white". They're acting like it was your average "black" who had these priviledges....Anyways, I'm from New Orleans and hate it because the same system stands Whites and Mulattos excell and brown skin people get screwed. Ugh and dont talk about the Mulattos who refuse to allow ther children date brown skin people. Mulattos in NO or racist

  • @southwestdon WRONG! lol Beyonce is a damn lie!

  • @EthanCole15 im joking beyonce is just a little bitch

  • Haitians do cross over ilegally and legally to DR daily. But my point is blacks and mulattoes have been part of DR since colonial times. PR, Cuba, and DR were countries in the Caribbean that had higher rates and waves of slaves and larger populations than their other Caribbean counterparts. Most of the blacks in Cuba, PR, and DR are from there.

Cuba did NOT abolish slavery until 1886. Slaves were brought there from Africa directly until 1873 or 1874. Black Cubans are MOSTLY from Cuba

  • I LOVE HISTORY!

  • @brownfoxx76 Especially when the whole thing gets told. The lady in this clip made sure she left out that White men and black women or native american women were the ones doing all of the mixing. I hate when white people and black puppets leave out important information.

  • This shit made me sooooooo damn happy... thannnnnnnnnnnkk uuuuuuuuuuuuu sooooo mucchhhhhhhh this vid sort of tells my story of how I came to be in this world... vou remercier autant de pour poster ceccciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... il dit certaine de mon histoiiiiiiiiii SE BIENNN CHER a milllion thank youzzzzzzzz....lol

  • @chsn09 sii yo mire todo de la partes del video k fueron recto... c est bien de la peint le culture de immigre to nueva olreans k guapiiisiiimo

  • Lets NOT forget about Hispano Caribbeans as well such as Cubans and Puerto Ricans and Dominicanos!

  • @chsn09 can never forget them. LOL

  • @Angrygumballl LOL haha! Yes don't forget them because they contributed to the cultural fabric and essence as well! Although interestingly enough many Haitians CONTRIBUTED to the cultures of Cuba and DR and even Haiti significantly! I'd say that many if not most Puerto Ricans and Dominicans and Cubans have a connection historically and culturally and even ancestrally to HAITI through migrations and influence!

  • @chsn09 Yes, Haitian culture is definitely a part of Cuban culture. Haitian Creole is the second most spoken language in Cuba. A large number of Haitians migrated to Cuba by the thousands.

  • @blakmajesty Yes very true! Haitian French Creole is the second most spoken language in the Republic of Cuba! Not only even that ppl and things coming from Haiti have been part of the island of Cuba since the 1500s and 1600s! There were many braceros workers that came to Cuba and many of them were from Haiti and many still migrate to Cuba!

During the Haitian Revolution and French Revolutions ppl from Haiti of ALL races and mixtures fled for Cuba and boosted the Cuban population and economy! -_-

  • @blakmajesty Are you Cuban or Louisiana Creole or Haitian etc?

  • @chsn09 I consider myself mixed. I was raised to say Cuban Mixed. or Spanish Dukes Mixture. I was not raised to say "Louisiana Creole" so I consider myself only of Louisiana and Mobile Creole descent. My mothers side doesnt consider themselves creole. They just call it "from Louisiana". or Bayou People. Another thing, the old ones that looked white usually say that they are either "french" or "spanish". some of the darker ones like myself would call themselves black indians.

  • @chsn09 Are you Spanish, Cuban or Creole? If you are Cuban you should get your DNA tested. Many Cubans also have Asian ancestry as well! If you are Cuban do you know why everyone in America thinks a Habanero is a pepper? Even wikipedia thinks its a pepper. Im an Arenal by the way.

  • @chsn09 Hey was it you that mentioned that Louis Farrakhan was from a West Indian neighborhood in Boston? I found out that EVERY major figure in the Nation of Islam is of West Indian descent. Farrakhan descends from St. Kitts and Jamaica, Malcolm X's mother was born in Granada, and of course Elijah Muhammad is full British West Indian. Muhammad Ali was not West Indian or Creole but his mother is of Kentucky free people of color descent.

  • @blakmajesty Interesting. Yep many Puerto Ricans whom are also West Indians were also involved in enlightenment and black movements in the USA such as Jesus Colon and Arturo Schomburg.

Yep Louis Farrakhan is WEST INDIAN. Malcolm X's mother was born Grenada*. She was a biracial/mulatto. She was half Scottish and half black. But in the USA, she was able to pass off as WHITE, lol. Stokely Carmichael is Trinidadian. Most of these afrocentric movements and black power came from West Indians NOT AA

  • @blakmajesty farrakhan is half st kitts/jamaican? holy shit that guy sound pure black american

  • @JORDANNYC17 Speaks with a southern twang at times too. I use to think he was American until I learned more about him.

  • @JORDANNYC17 He simply sounds American cause he was raise here. No holy shit suprise about that.

  • @mkesmoke smh that doesnt mean anything come to nyc , and you will see african americans and west indian born here have a different swing in their accents. i can easily tell em apart.

  • @JORDANNYC17 so do i ..i was raised here so i sound american ..whats your point?

  • @blakmajesty I'm curious, where did you get the info that Elijah Muhammad "is full British West Indian"? I'm not challenging you, but I never heard that before, and I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Census and birth records indicate that his parents are both born in Georgia and at least his paternal grandparents descend from slaves there.

  • @chsn09

The so called connection you babble about of Haitians on Dominicans was through RAPE and PILLAGE in the 22-year long ETHNIC CLEANSING occupation of Haitians in the lands of Dominican ancestors. Haitian culture WAS FORCED on Dominicans to the point that their language (Spanish) was even forbidden!!!

Dominican identity however SURVIVED as resilient as it is through generations and has BEEN OUR BEST DEFENSE in face of the never-ending Haitian onslaught of our lands and people.

  • @Certeroooo I really feel sorry for you for all of that HATE you hold in your heart and how you vent out on YouTube with your frustrations.

  • @Certeroooo Some of what you are saying is true but lets not forget that Haitians helped free people of color and blacks in the ENTIRE island of Hispanolia of slavery and abolished it from the island. So there was GOOD and BAD. The interests of Dominicans was in the hands of the whites and elites of DR under Haitian occupation. Anyway peace unto you. ILLEGAL immigration is a problem

  • @Certeroooo lol you everywhere when do you get time to have sex?

  • @Certeroooo did you know after you kicked Haiti out in 1844 , you invited the colon back the Spanish back until it turned on you and started raping you then you had to call on Haiti to help save your ass

  • @Certeroooo Word ^

  • @chsn09 When I said that too you in a PM you debate against it. Remember when I said those black folks in DR, Cuba, Mexico and PR are from Haiti, Jamaica and other black carribbean nations. It's a short boat ride baby a very short boat ride and like I said Haitians cross over into DR daily! Some of them who are third and fourth generation just call themselves Dominican, but really they are either Haitian or Jamaican and all descendants of Africa.

  • @WhereYaBoss LOL. Haha. WYB. You misinterpreted what I have said. I was saying that early on their has been influences from different regions of the Western Hemisphere so there are connections in many ways. Black folks in DR, Cuba, Mexico, and PR are FROM those places. Yes there may have been people from other nations that immigrated there but MOST of the BLACKS and MULATTOES in ALL of these nations developed in the respective nations that are INHABITED BY THEM since colonial times.

  • @chsn09 Still they are not the indigenous people of those areas. They are/were immigrants.

  • @WhereYaBoss LOL. Who was talking about the indigenous people of those areas. The indigenous peoples of these islands were the so called Native Americans.

My point is that there is not necessarily a look. Miscegenation or race mixing took place but there were people that were pure black and pure white that have been in these lands since colonial times. So to say that the blacks are immigrants is wrong. Yes their ancestors immigrated there a long time ago but in colonial times

  • @chsn09 You are making my case for me

  • @WhereYaBoss LMAO. But you get what I am saying. Blacks and whites in these countries have ALWAYS been from their respective countries which they continue to inhabit. The vast majority of blacks and whites in Latin American and Caribbean countries have been there since COLONIAL times and are therefore natives and like Creoles since they and their descendants have helped form the local native culture of these respective lands and regions.

Saying that it comes from elsewhere is PATHETIC lol

  • @chsn09 Yes, I get what you are saying.

  • @WhereYaBoss Oh ok lol =-)

  • @chsn09 you everywhere lmao

  • @UniversalOneLove1 LMAO! you are funny!

  • @chsn09 Bullshit if you look at the most influential people in the black power movement and the civil rights movement , they were AA , NOT west indian. Yes there were some of west indians descent that were influential but most were of Black american descent or atleast partial black american descent (like malcom x for example)

  • @WhereYaBoss no..they are all descendants of africa yes but the majority of afro-latino people are not from haiti nor jamaica or other "black caribbean nations" I'm sorry but people from an island with a dinstinct language and culture don't just move and over generations "call themselves dominicans" Most black dominicans descended from African slaves

  • @loconico126 You want in, but I got the door closed. No ad-mission... No hoes. Back up off me, put back on ya clothes. This is not a whorehouse, not just any-thing goes.
