power sliding is drifting, its just what the generation before called it, my dad still calles it power sliding and i call it drifting.

@marcolotr not quite....drifting is purposely making the car slide before, through and out of a corner and then into the next. Powersliding is often jumping on the power, making the car slide when exiting the corner. Drifting has a lot more finesse, style, flare and skill to it. Usually in RWD cars....can, sometimes, be done in 4WD.

A power slide is what happens when you put power down when you exit a corner and the back end comes out. Drifting is when you make the car slide before you enter a corner, then slide the car all trhough the corner. lern the diffrence and stop trying to sound clever, because you arent good at it.

uhh..no AWD can still drift..., granted its a lot harder than RWD, but AWD EVO'S can do it too...though some others would like too call it powersliding rather that drifting but either way the difference is slim =P
