Actually grew up in Chicago in the 80's when the disco/house/club music scene was born at the Music Box with Ron Hardy and other legendary DJs from the Chi. Sorry if my categorizing it house music bothered you, but how would you classify this song?

@kushkushinthebush Don't feel wrong in your reference, because I had explained to the person who objected to you, before there was the music label "House", people in Chicago would go to record stores, asking for that "HOUSE" music, or, the music that you would hear played at the WareHOUSE. And it was Chicagoans that, mostly, embraced these Italo-disco, & Euro ...btw, this song wasn't put in a category, at the time, but it has been put in the category of "chill house"

@clinicrecording Yes, it is pre-house, but it was embraced in house music mixes . .and the reason that the term "house music" came about, was because people would ask go to stores in Chicago asking, "where is that HOUSE music?", referring to music that you would hear played at the warehouse (underground dance/italo-disco, electronica) ...and this IS referred to in record compilations as "chill house"

@clinicrecording btw ...How far back would you say that House music goes? House music, Italo-disco and Euro-synth have, pretty much, ALWAYS been connected! House music didn't just start in the mid 80s ..It just wasn't given the title "house", until it was more associated w/ the Warehouse club
