  • I have been waiting for this movie for YEARS! I think the actors look the part, the action looks awesome, and I can't wait to see it. I think they'll do it in a three part series: Wandering Samurai, Legend of Kyoto, and finally Jinchuu. I don't know what to think about Aoshi. I hope he's in the movie. Either way, I hope the VA's reprise their roles. Kenshin is my favorite anime and now it is back! Yes!

  • All the faces of the cast fit reaaallly well

  • Hijo de Puta he perdido 10 segundos de mi vida... pensando que era el trailer...

  • I cant wait, damn it looks awesome. I remember that I watched the show everyday, I loved it.

  • this would be awesome but would love to see the whole enishi saga, as they never showed that in the TV series...

  • i hate to say this, but i have a feeling is this is going to be terrible...i hate to admit it because i love ruroken and ill watch it but live actions have just been so disapointing

  • I hope Aoshi and the oniwaban are in in the film even if they appear towards the halfway point because if you recall kenshin and aoshis fight wasnt that long in the anime but it set up so much interaction between the two which spiraled into the kyoto

  • hopefully they do a better job than that horrible live dragon ball movie.. and that live blood plus.. anime were no made to be live.. with real people..

  • NO JUST NO, Have you Seen Death Note Movies? Have you Seen Gantz Movies?

EXACT SAME THING, but with Kenshin. It will be awesome fore some, a let down for others, I will FUCKING LOVE IT regardless, nuf said,

  • @Sazuko well said. Rurouni Kenshin is being made by Warner Bros. Death note and Gantz wasnt.... sniff.... wish atleast Gantz was...

  • @Navez2011 Actually Death Note WAS made by Warner Bros, which is why i expect the same results, It Really well made, but of course won't follow anime/manga Exactly, Why? there's just not enough time, or sequels that can be made.

  • @Sazuko yes which is why alot of ppl say the same about the gantz movie. sure it could have been better, but the manga is still ongoing so they had to change the story abit to end it.

  • thanks for sharing man! really exited about getting to see this movie.

  • Y U NO HIKO SEIJURO?!!!!

  • I just hope it stays somewhat close to the story Watsuki wrote, because it's honestly one of the best i've ever read. There's no way they could get the whole story perfect in less than 2 hours of film, but i'd like it if they would show some of the Samurai X kenshin/tomoe story too which it looks like they did because the trailer shows him cutting people up. Jinei was a cool villian so I think he'd fit well for the movie if they really would make another after this.

  • Woot. Can't wait.

  • is Yahiko in the movie too?

  • @Jude1sMyName I think so...

  • Pourra, toma no cu. De novo esse merda falando

  • i would think they'd wanna start out slow with something a little less... BIG. live action films of comics let alone animes are very hit and miss. some work some dont and u can never really tell til you test it out first. if it does well they MAY continue onto something a bit broader, but for now i think it'll be ok to start out with a more miniscule story arc.

  • what the fuck , i wish this on my birthday (10th jan)

    yeah!!!!!!!!

  • THEY HAV ALL THOSE PEOPLE BUT NO AOSHI?!?!?!?!! OMFG NOOOOOOO!!!!!!</3

  • JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND SHOW ME THE DAMN TRAILER you fuckin white rhino ball suc

    ker

  • they need to put Aoshi SHinomori in it that would be epic.

  • actually in the manga after kenshin defeats shish theres one last arc after that and thats the arc where Tomoe's younger brother captures Karou and ken shin must defeat him to save her, after that they have time gap and it shows life of an older yahiko and then it ends, The anime doesnt include the part wit Tomoe's brother, and it goes on for a much longer time consisting of nothing but filler.

  • i really doubt what he said about the sequels. movies based on manga usually wont satisfy us manga fans and if there would be sequels, there is a high chance it'll suck because so much content is removed and not explained because of time constraints in a movie. take death note for instance. this might be great for first timers knowing about this story, but it'll most definately dissappoint most of us manga/anime readers, like how i felt about death note. but who knows, we'll see

  • mais que bicha é segundo video que eu entro, para ver o trailer e tem um viado falando sem parar.

  • @TheTuliohummel Stupidity has no language barrier. The link to what your looking for is in the description.

  • @bobsamurai you're right, sorry.

  • @TheTuliohummel hahhahahaha é, não é?

    Chama-se ânsia de protagonismo.

  • @Tenken0the02nd exactly

  • im just scared they are going to fuck it up

  • There is no one handsome enough in real life to be Aoshi Shinomori

  • If they do decide to continue the films to Kyoto all I am praying for is that Soujiro Setas character is more developed. He was my favorite character in Rurouni Kenshin (besides Kenshin) until his downfall in the final fight between Kenshin and Soujiro. For a guy who has no emotions (Kenshins weakness) sure broke down very quickly in a matter of one episode which in fact ruined the last part of the series. Soujiros character could have been the best ever if it was not rushed to cut him off.

  • fuckin dumbass speaker

  • Hey Bob, I just saw your review and it was fine, but, I don't think they should have done the movie about Shishio Makoto, even if it's gonna be only one movie, because the fight was not the best one in the anime series, was too unreal. Seriously, for high-speed and high-skilled (best stuff) hitokiris, I expected much more than a lot of fire coming out of the sword.

  • Shut up Moron !!!!

  • Sato Takeru is just awesome~~!!!

I guess we'll see how great this movie is when it comes out~

The most awesome part of this movie is that the Japanese is finally being played by a ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆Japanese person and not a Chinese or Korean pretending as a Japanese. ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

  • sapo culiao, andate a cagar a otra parte, amariconao reculiao chupa la verga carepollo chuchetumadre, no sabi ni una wea

  • @gaticadiaz chilean detected! hahahhaha, never mess with chileans.

  • I would much rather see him fight Enishi Yukishiro!!!1

  • no shishio?!?!? wtf

  • i think its gonna be the tits!

id like to see a movie from the start, like how he gets the scars and up to his death n all that from the samurai x set.

never really got into the rurouni kenshin cartoon network stuff too much, but whatever i think its still gonna be badass.

  • I hope they continue making more films after this one, the saito soujiro vs kenshin fight is too epic to be missed! I wonder if they are going to incorporate the sweet side of kenshins personality in the movie - not to mention his "catch phrase" ORO!!!

  • lol.. ignorant people...have you seen the OVA of rurouni kenshin?... did aoshi, couri and megumi exist in it?...that;'s the movie they based this live action.. where in himura is still the slasher of tokugawa era..and by the way...its not megumi it's tomoe wtf !!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @battoussai1846 Well, actually the movie will not cover only those days. If that was the case kanryou and Saito would not have been casted. And it is Megumi by the way, played by Aoi Yu.

  • @Wroughtlight i was talking about if they continue to make a sequel or even make it into a trilogy.

  • They can't have Kanryu and Megumi without Aoshi. The trailer is still a teaser, they may not be showing him for surprise factor. It is also impossible to have the entire Kenshin story in one movie. So the most plausible outcome is 3 or 4 movies. This one followed by Kyoto Arc, then Jinchu Arc, and like how Harry Potter split the last movie into two parts, they may do that for one or both arcs since they're the longest ones.

  • It's a movie, not a tv series. but who knows they'll make another movie :P

  • dream came true. finally they make it a live action movie.

  • Well, i think its a good start for the live action, imagine if the movie sucks and they starts with an importartnt saga as Shishio, that would be really dissapointing, but even it wont be as great as we all fans expect, hope it wont sucks like Dragon Ball live action xD. But if it works i really love to see the Tomoe's story

  • What do you think about no Aoshi for this movie though? How can you have Megumi and Kanryu, but no Aoshi? He's one of the main characters of the arc, not to mention the entire show, how can they just phase him out for Jinei and Saito presumably?

  • @LordAmon15 shit your right...maybe aioshi is at the end and they dont actually fight him and that leaves it open for the 2nd movie

  • @bobsamurai That still wouldn't explain why Saito is there. I know they have to condense things to make it fit a movie, but I would think Aoshi is a more important character then Jinei, but who knows maybe their keeping Aoshi a secret right now.

  • @bobsamurai NO AOSHI? oh my. There must be Aoshi. Tsk.

  • @bobsamurai Since Aoshi is after Kenshin for recognition and it is noted that Aoshi is indeed one of Kenshin's tough opponents, I think it is indeed right

  • @june0024 Also if they pit in the second story, I believe it will be an epic Kyoto Arc with the Juppongatana...

Notably the Juppongatan will be eased down to a few notable characters...

  • @bobsamurai youre probly write but that would be crap and the last one could be abought the war of ki :)

  • Comment removed

  • @LordAmon15 I dont mind about Aoshi or Jin-e, but where is Yahiko???

  • @LordAmon15 Well you never know so far its only a Teaser trailer that came out and you might never no they might put him in.

  • @LordAmon15 it's just the first movie dude... and it's just a teaser trailer anyway...

  • @LordAmon15 thats crap i thoaght it would at least be american actors but at least the craze is gona steart again cuz i was abit late but i love samurai x watching one right now bye

  • @LordAmon15 Because I'm a colossal Aoshi fan, I have enormous expectations from whomever would play him if they do decide to include him in the movie. Which is why I think it's best that they leave him out of it because I honestly believe there is no actor that would be able to do him justice. I'd rather stick with the manga/anime version than have some schmuck disappoint us all.

  • i cant fucking wait!

  • From the trailer it looks like the film will focus only on the first 30 chapters of the manga; but yes, it would be outstanding if they continued and made the other arcs. I suppose it might depend on how well this first one does in the box office. =)

  • @AmaiMiko666 I read in Wikipedia that they are going to try to make more live actions movies of Kenshin after this one... if it does well.... I think it's going to end.... probably when he says good bye to Kaoru or early in the manga.. DEFINETLY wont cover the Kyoto arc....

  • @sxystar41 The Kyoto arc will be ridicolous expensive to make.

  • Makoto Shishio FTW! no doubt Kenshin's toughest opponent!

  • Apart from a couple costume designs like Hajime Saitou's i'm content with how everything else looks. When it comes to both western & eastern live action adaptations I can't help but nitpick the costume designs.

  • this looks really cool, i watched the anime upto episode 14-15, didnt think to much of it, should i watch the rest or not?

  • @AnTeelach definitely yes!!

  • @AnTeelach

D: D00d you srsly need to watch the Kyoto Arc (episodes 28-62) that is one of the most amazing arcs ever conceived in anime history.

  • @GinkoArtEtc well then i might just go back to it soon once ive caught up on the anime's im watching, since u say its that good lol

  • Comment removed

  • @AnTeelach ummmmm fuck ya!!!!

  • Looks pretty good.

  • I think it's gonna be awesome! I really look forward to it.

  • aaaa epic i cant wait

u really are a great source for kenshin stuff :D
