i have a honda civic and i removed the two bolts on my brake caliper and i know that they move back and fouth if you press them in but my top bolt wont go back in with the new pads on but the bottom one will do you know why its locked into place like it is

i have a question about the caliper bolts i have two but one of them has a rubber where it goes the one the has the rubber? upper side or down side?

how do you get out bolts with dull heads my socket wont work nether will any of my wrenchs please help.... ty

Try a size down and hit the socket with a hammer to get it snug on the bolt, or get an extractor set and hammer that on.
