  • your kitchen is so good

  • I'm allergic to avocado...damn it

  • I bought a hot oil treatment at sally beaty supply ....it has 7 different oils in it 4 ur hair

  • What if you are allergic to almonds and avicados ???

  • wat if ur allergic to almonds?

  • how often should i do this?

  • wouldent the oil make ur hair greasey

  • I LOVE your hair

  • I have oily/not so oily hair....will this work fine or make it more oily after doing it?

  • @love4life2sing It won't make it more oil. The oils are used to hydrate your hair.

  • Where could I buy the avocado oil? I wanna try this because I really wanna have long , stronger, shinier hair so please reply:)

  • @julisvega34 most grocery stores have it.

  • @julisvega34 you can actually just use avocado, but dont warm that up.

  • @julisvega34 hi. I found the avocado oil at the grocery store. alternatively u can get it online. eg. iherb.com. just google it to find online stores.

  • I'm not sure if I should use this because I have really oily hair, has anyone used this and their hair been fine afterwards or more oily?

  • @lessybieber My hair isn't "really oily," but it is somewhat oily. I have used this and it doesn't make your hair gross and oily, it makes it feel smoother and stronger =]

  • @rainbowwhisper oh okay now i can use it thanks (:

  • i bleached and dye my hair red would this take out the colour??

  • Comment removed

  • I used this and my hair was so silky and shiny!

  • buying all those oils were expensive... esp. since i dont really buy avocdo, almond oil... :/

  • The oil didn't seem to come out of my hair.

  • @Phoenix24k

Actually you can use most hot oil treatments

once a week if really needed, but once a month can also work. It varies on the oils and the amount you use but if you only use olive oil (about a tablespoon) you can use it about once a week. :)

  • Did someone try this?

  • @meriemilove2eat yes i tried it.. and it helps to avoid ur split ends.. and make ur hair softer.

  • Oka what? First you wash your hair, then use the treatmen, then wash your hair again?????

  • @TheMI21 no u leave it on till u die

  • @mcmillanxt1 yeah i thought so..

  • Will definitely try this!

  • If you have thick hair how do you get to the roots?

  • How often do you do this? Like once a month roughly?

  • Very informative

  • Just a tip, you can also shave your head to get stronger, healthier hair (though it is a sacrifice). I'm Indian and in my family it's a tradition to shave the babies head so they can get strong and healthy hair. Then if you shave your head a couple of times it will be even stronger. So that's just a tip, hope it helped.

  • more videos like this!!!!

  • I'm always bummed when I come onto DIYs and there's stuff that's not already in my kitchen. I'm too lazy to go out and buy anything.

  • don't hot oil treatments make your hair longer too???

  • Holy crap. Your hair afterward looked ridiculous AWESOME. How often do you do this? Please answer, thank you! :) <3

  • does it matter what type of olive oil? like virgin or extra virgin?

  • @EhRealCanadianGirl either is fine, but extra virgin is less refined.

  • tell michelle phan to use this...her hair is fried:/

  • Is it me or is it weird how she says "salon"? must be because our accents are different -_-

  • how often can i do this treatment??

  • @DarkAngelHair Oil treatments are like any! If you hair is really dry, the once a week. If it's not that dry, maybe once every month. Luckily, it's suppose to make your hair really nice and silky as time goes by, so it's up to you to see how soft you hair is. Only you know when it's right to use it often or not! :)

  • @DarkAngelHair If your hair is really damaged, then treat it once a week. If you're just doing maintenance, do it once every other week (at least, that's what I do). Also, I find that putting just 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a tablespoon of honey in a sandwich bag (I don't have avocado or almond oil) then heating the bag in boiling water works well, too. Plus, you don't have to store it and you can cut a corner of the bag so it's like a pastry bag. It's easier if have short hair like me.

  • what the--?! two years? O_O

    that's cool.

  • I wonder what adding cinnamon to this mix would do.

  • how many days a week should this treatment be done?

  • @Ketprasit at the most, once a week. your hair may become very greasy if you do it more than that. i usually do this treatment once a month and i have long, thick, brown hair.

  • do you have extensions?

  • @MsCattyRose There is a such thing as a fourth all over the world...math is the same everywhere

  • @MsCattyRose It's the same thing 1/4th (one-fourth) - one quarter - a quarter - a fourth it's all the same thing

  • @MsCattyRose one forth IS a quarter.

  • What a lovely video! And your hair is just beautiful Krista! It doesn't look fine at all to me, I thought it looked very thick and healthy! :-)

  • @ninjasinspace

I agree with you :) but heres a fact for you though blonde haired people ( like krista) their is naturally very thin I read it somewhere but they ually have alot of it so she's got fine hair but alot of it

  • Your kitchen is beautiful.

I also enjoy your videos :)

  • i have oily skin so i have to wash my hair everyday = my hair is really dry:( how to make it better??????

  • @atKristaBradford Thanks for the video ! How often would you recommend doing this?

  • I love your videos! So helpful! <3

  • what exactly does this treatment do for your hair?

  • if your hair is think that what would mine be considered?

  • Wooow!! 2 years! Haha! But why Would someone even wait that long to use it? If i did that treatment, it woild of beem gone in 2 weeks

  • krista. ...how often should i do this. ? i use hot tools about 4x a week. i have coarse hair

  • she has those expensive oils, lol !

  • does this help get rid of spli ends or help with them at all?

  • @heemanbmusic you can never get rid of split ends unless you cut your hair. doing treatments like this only disguise it or prevent it from happening as often. no matter what the shampoo companies tell you.

  • So..you can heat up the oil multiple times?

  • How many times should you do this a week?

  • I really like your tutorials. Can you, Michelle, and Chriselle do a colab on how to dress up for an interview both men and women!!

  • THANX I really needed something like this now that my hair is growing back after my last bob :)

  • Comment removed

  • The thing is, I apply the oil treatment before even soaking my hair and before I even shampoo it. Does anyone recommend me doing this after I shampoo or does it really matter?

Please reply back! I would love to hear your opinion :)

  • I actualy do this every time I shower! But I only use almond/olive oil. With a bit of castor oil as well.

  • how do you know if you have thick, medium or fine hair?

  • DIY = ???

  • @BlackyEyezZ Do It Yourself

  • weathergirl?

  • My hair turned out sooo good! :) Thanks for the video!

  • Just a suggestion i don't think u needed that much oil for even ur length of hair and dipping it into a bowl u should instead use an applicator bottle.

hot oil treatment, shampoo , dc, etc. So then u can use the hot oil on ur scalp and roots and when u shampoo it it doesnt weigh ur hair done, that's what they are made for :)

  • Can you just use Olive oil?

  • Great video :D

    Very helpful ^_^

I just...paused at the wrong moment on accident.

    (0:28. Derp)

    But thank you <33

  • MAKE MORE VIDEOS I LOVEEEEE LOOKING AT THEM IM ALWAYS LOOKING AT THEM ON REPEAT!!!!

  • Before you apply the treatment do you shampoo and condition your hair or only shampoo? I am very keen to try out this mask because i have terrrribe hair!

  • @erica92168 she said that you have to wash ur hair as usual...

  • she s saying half cup but taking 1 cup. same with d 1/4th cup. am i d only 1 who noticed dat??????

  • Comment removed

  • @samairah1993 um no she used half a cup and a quarter of a cup

  • @Ruglycupcakesmuffins please watch again. she did use a full cup, for all 3 oils.

  • @letters7777 No. She did use 1/2 cup for almond and 1/4 for the other twos. It is written on the cup. =)

  • @LimeFlightUKnow oh so those are different measuring cups... Jesus... my bad

  • LOVE your shirt in this video!

  • Is there anything I can do to help my hair grow faster?

I subscribed because I definitely want to hear more from you! Thank you! and have a good day. :)

  • @princessae2004 Try Prenatal Vitamins, I take them and have noticed a difference :)

  • @ShizukaNatasha What brand do you buy? and where do you purchase them? I know that not all brands are good when buying vitamins or supplements. Thanks!

  • @princessae2004 I have Prenatal Vitamins - well that's all it says on it, but I got it from Walgreens. The bottle is black with a white cap, and it says Prenatal in white letter with the picture of a mom and child in blue and purple on the label. Hope that description helps :)

  • How many times should you repeat this? I mean like once a week or less/more?

Thank you for the great video, im definately gonna try this out, my hair is shit. :P

  • her smile is very warming xxx

  • Michelle could use a few tips here.

  • Does anyone know a good alternative to almond oil?? Thanks

  • @SakuraKanari coconut oil

  • like if u got here from miccelle phan:)

  • like if u got here from miccelle phan:)

  • I love the hair health tutorials!! I really like videos like these that explain WHY something is a good method. I've seen a lot of people talk about hot oil, but nobody really goes into why it's better than just plain oil. I usually do my oil masks in the bathroom so I'm too lazy to heat them, but I wear them for at least an hour. Do you think it makes a really big difference to heat the oil?

  • @Schmaiden1 yes it makes a huge difference. the heat opens the cuticles and allows your hair to absorb the oil way better, if your hair is just room temperature, your cuticle is closed, so the oil just sits on the surface of your hair, not doing anything really.

  • love ur kithchen!!

  • sorry i dont get it just lie what do use the hot oil for? and woudt it make ur hair greasyy??

  • @commeterchica It wont, I normally shampoo twice to get all the oil out.

  • ur so pretty

  • Comment removed

  • You are AWESOME <3

  • Does it make a difference if I use Sweet Almond Oil?

  • someone please reply- could i just do this with olive oil?

  • @ClooConstance i guess so, i always use only olive oil cause it's the easiest to get and also the cheapest and it's worked great for me(:

  • @ClooConstance You could..but you're hardly going to get the result you're looking for. The idea of using all three of those oils is to get to every layer in the strand of hair. Olive oil (correct me if I'm wrong) will only take care the surface of the strand. But don't take my word for it...by all means, try it. What's the worse that can happen?

  • she has extensions....

  • this was a useful tutorial but a lot of time was spent watching the oil being poured :(

  • i use castor oil and aldmond oil :) and they are amazing

  • magical trick! I did it and my hear felt sooooo good and smooth! thank you! please, do so more videos!

  • What's your natural hair ? (:

  • do you only do it once a month or once a week? please reply!

  • hi krista, my hair's been falling off due to the hard water here in india. any advice on what to do? I am medically fine.

  • Question: With oil, don't you have to refrigerate it after using it (heating it) ??

  • You got that Chandelier at Michaels :)

  • @ProjectNerdHerd It's okay to do this without avocado oil and only the other two oils. Your hair will still be beautiful if you only use those two oils.

  • Is there something else I can use instead of Avocado oil or can I do this without avocado oil? I'm allergic to avocados =( and cannot use anything with atrificial avocados either.

  • Krista is so talented. I really wish she didn't get known because of Michelle Phan, because now she'll always be compared to her. Same with Promise Phan. They both deserve their own recognition because of their talent, not because of some other Youtuber.

  • Do you have to use these types of oils or could you use like, virgin oil, or others...?

  • how often you've got to re-do??

  • thats a lottttttttttttt.

we should make it into smaller portions, and just try to finish it within a month..

else u're like keep reheating it for like 2 years?

  • @atKristaBradford do you have to use the almond oil?

  • wont the oil make your hair greasy even if u do wash it afterwards?

  • @koreandramafanatic It can. I have to shampoo 2-3 times before it isn't so oily, but I have thick, long hair, so it retains a LOT of grease! Thinner hair would only need a quick clean. (BUT, it's totally worth it!!)

  • @strawbebe123 go fuck yourself and stop watching the damn videos if it bothers you so much.

  • @sammilove95 fuck u too yeayeaa u creature!!u cant stop me haha i think u bother urself more loll

    it's juz comment stupid lolllll

  • @strawbebe123 nope im pretty sure you bother me more :)

  • Haha extentions xDDD

  • When we wash it the first time, do you mean shamppo and condition it? or is that only after???

  • @Hanon56 You only have to condition it after the oil treatment

  • How often can you do this hair treatment?

  • Krista, can you do a tutorial on how to curl hair with a straightner ?

    : ]

  • aah, fail, i did it on dry hair.. forgot to wash it first.. -.-' will do it again.. thanxx Krista! liking my hair after the hot oil treatment.. =)

  • Like if you got here from Krista :)

  • @yelinaleeVII wompwompwomp. look at michelle's number. haha

  • I waved back to her

  • wait, those are measuring cups for dry ingredients.. its different if you use one for liquid.... but i will try this!!!

  • TUTORIAL FOR THICKER HAIR??? PLS!!! IM DESPERATE

  • ALL MY FAV OILS!!!

  • do you have hair extensions in cause your hair looks really thick!!(: you said that your hair was fine didnt you??
