It was originally going to be a British car. They didnt want it. But who cares, Then Adolf Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche got together looking at sketches. Hitler thinks this is the car every german could have. And actually there was a thing called KdF Stamps, if you was to fill that book up with them. You will get a Beetle. Well, at that time WWII started, sadly to say nobody ever got their Beetle.

Its interesting how this car had different purposes. In the World War II it was used as a combat car (with some modifications). In the 60s it was an icon of love and peace and even actually its used like a taxi (at least where I live).

Despite being such a bad person, Hitler's demand on a small, but economic and reliable car made Porsche & Hitler himself to create this awesome car, that lived for over 60 years and is still a nowadays car even though it's a 1930's or 1940's design. I'm a proud owner of one of this fantastic cars!!!
