New Amerykah pt 1 is one of the best albums made in the last decade. I don't agree with the rest of the list but thats just my personal taste. I agree Q Tip should have also made the list.

@joseadan88 I agree completely. Furthermore, they shouldn't have hired a music editor with such a narrow taste in music. With such amazing rock, electronic, folk, experimental, dance, alt and indie albums that year...the AP's top 5 are from 4 soul artists and a hip hop artist. 1) That's ridiculous. 2) How can the MUSIC EDITOR know nothing about the year in music outside of a couple genres?
