Maybe you are referring to laws in USA and parts of Europe that grant you the right to film and photograph almost everything as long as you are standing on public property.
Is anyone of such laws present in Mauritian Law? Also, at some point the cameraman was standing between the policemen and the road and I am under the impression they were on traffic control duty. Your freedom to film does not grant you freedom to cause disturbance in their work.

This chap is lucky that the cops are being tolerant. In other countries he would have got into serious trouble.In France the cops would kick his arse. He may be in a public place but still, it is clearly an impediment to the cops who are REQUESTING him to stop and quite politely ("Missier"). His actions seems very provocative unfortunately (regardless of what might have happened before the filming) and I find those cops rather submissive than arrogant. I find the author provocative instead.

FYI, this is Mauritius.
Maybe you are referring to laws in USA and parts of Europe that grant you the right to film and photograph almost everything as long as you are standing on public property.
Is anyone of such laws present in Mauritian Law? Also, at some point the cameraman was standing between the policemen and the road and I am under the impression they were on traffic control duty. Your freedom to film does not grant you freedom to cause disturbance in their work.

Please, make sure you know what you are talking about because by saying that you work for the MPF and mentionning that there are laws which prohibits the making of a clips without someone, authorisation when when such laws doesn't exist, make you look stupid, the fact that you should know your law better than others!!!These policemen should be more serious in their jobs and act like adults!!

First of all , let me assure those idiots that there is no law that prevent someone to film and broadcast anything on any website as long as it complies with the site's policy.
