the cursor on mine randomly jumps to mid-page, has done this since day one. Sent back to Toshiba, and they said they were unable to replicate the problem. Interestingly, the day I got it back from them, my daughter was using it for a school project and said "hey, why does the cursor keep jumping all around?" So I've put up with this annoying problem for the past two and a half years. Other than that and the very low sound volume, it would be an awesome little machine.

It's not SUPPOSED to be used for video editing. It's supposed to be used for less powerful tasks.

This is one of the worst reviews I've ever seen. Good luck hooking up your TV to the netbook via VGA. It isn't going to happen without an expensive hardware converter. Also, how are free software trials beneficial at all? After 2 months, you're back to not having Office or an antivirus program. Why not just install AVG or Avast right away, instead of having to uninstall a free trial? To me, this "feature" is more of a nuisance.

Just got this unit yesterday in Pearl White.

Pros: Looks great and stylish, the keyboard is AWESOME, mouse pad size is GREAT,glossy screen, AWESOME AWESOME battery life ,Webcam, 160gb hard disk, very lightweight, charger is very light as well, charges rather quick. Easy access to upgrade memory

Cons: there is a delay on the mouse pointer on the screen even at times when i am not multitasking (not all the time but enough to notice),only 1gb ram (upgrading to 2gb this week) Needs Louder speaker!

this netbook would be perfect if it would come with HDMI port for presentations

this is 2009 why even include a RGB port know one even uses RGB any more

every where i go every small company has at least 1 HD tv with hdmi so i use that for presentation

The Laptop is GREAT yet I had to return it for its one design flaw. Mono speaker only. and my blackberry produces louder sounds while on speakerphone.

You almost have to hold the bottom of the NB to your ear like a cellphone to hear video or audio.

I cant believe it. it was so close to perfect . Screen keyboard battery life ( i got over 6 hour while watching hulu and youtube videos)

what a darn shame....the NB had so so much going for it. unfortunately that was the deal breaker for me.

mmmm...it's a bad thing the monospeaker. i've the nb100 & it's really good. One question, you have got the nb200 10j? 'cause the power life is up to 3,30 hour as toshiba has indicated.

i have Toshiba NB 100-111 and i love that machine =) resolution is little low, but on 8,9 inches is 1024y600 very good display resolution. NB200 look good too. =)

thanx good review. to the point showed me what i wanted to see. all the specs. perfect. this seems like a winner, but im hoping for better screen resolution, if this came with ion it would be perfect.
