  • Male paramedic who also works in the Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Operating Room, Intensive Cardiac Care Unit, and Special Procedures; and this applies everywhere trying to get the pts in and out. You guys are hilarious.

  • Male RN here. Woot

  • Although humorous, the first tune is also a sad commentary on the way patients have become just another #! Glad you guys help lighten things up!

  • Agreed Sinky... Just had to have my first heart cath with out drugs! Having any one of these gents singing would have relieved a great deal of my anxiety. My tears would have been from pure joy instead of fear!!!

  • They should make this a part of the Pre-Op procedure and involve the Patient. It would definitely relieve a lot of anxiety.

  • These guys are the coolest and the hottest guys ever !!!

  • We need Docs that do this!

  • keep up the good singing!!

  • I've just had 4 operations in 4 months...and all I can say is this is just hilarious. I wish everyone could chill out a little in the OR... you know your jobs (OK, most of you) or you wouldn't work in the finest hospitals in the USA. You Doc's are great, don't give up your sideline!

  • as a nurse i can say this and really mean it..........YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME !! this is the humor everyone in the medical field needs ! THANK YOU !

  • I love this. It reminds me of a song we did to the 12 days of Christmas with a student nursing twist when I was a student nurse back in 1975. Very funny!

  • Hospitals can be fun as these talented men are showing. Most times we are in such misery because of all we see and have to do and there are times like this that make it fun too.

  • My husband is a police officer and the link to your video's was in their newsletter. You are all very good singers! The videos were fun to watch and the lyrics made me laugh so hard. It is nice to see the fun side of physicians. Keep up the great singing/entertaining and taking care of those needing anesthesia!

  • You have to have a sense of humor to work in a hospital..''to keep you own sanity. I love all their songs, they're hilarious!!!!!!

  • Another great video. Dr. House would be proud. Five stars and more.

  • My Dad was an Anesthesiologist and I wish he were alive to see this!! He would have loved it!! You guys are great.

  • continued from below: Must be freaky to hold another person's life in your hands. Just remember, the man/woman on the receiving end doesn't have a choice and it's not funny at all to them or their family. Well I am sure you know that..gotta blow off some steam with that kind of responsibility! THANK YOU CRNAs!!!

  • Frightening. Last time I underwent general anesthesia I had a real yuckster MD who made it funny to forget my serious sitch and I was too sick to care.

But man...while a person is OUT are you all standing there THAT worried about whether or not we will wake up? Pretty scary. When I woke up, was told "be sure to tell the next guy who puts you under that you buck." wtf? I still don't know what that means.

  • Actually, no. We hardly ever worry about whether or not you will wake up. What your anesthesiologist meant was if you have surgery again to tell the next anesthesiologist that you kick and fight when you are coming out. It is very common, you don't know you are doing it and you can't control it. It is just nice to know beforehand so it can be anticipated.

I'm sorry that your doc made light of your situation to the point you thought it was inappropriate. We really do take our jobs seriously.

  • @bonedoc33 im having surgery soon very soon a rhinoplasty and im nervous that ill fight like that ive had 3 other surgeries nothing was said

  • wow! loved it....

  • This is Soooooooo true! LOLOLOL

  • these guys are great!!!

  • Really cute!!!

  • You guys are great!

  • WOW!! I am in awe of you guys. I just recently discovered you on 'waking up is hard to do'. Great talent! Keep the vids coming. Thanks

  • I truly enjoy watching your group!!

  • Thanks

  • As a long-time L&D RN working daily with CRNAs, you guys are fantastic! It takes a special type of humor to work in the medical field and you guys have captured some of our daily lives in the OR. Great voices and harmonizing! Where do you practice? Wish you were at my hostpital!

  • BJCRN: We practice in the Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

And let me say we have a lot of fun.......

  • These songs and videos are great. Keep it up.
