I noticed allot of the new police car's sirens are not nearly as loud as they used to be half the time you don't know the coming anymore unless their right on your back bumper and no it not because cars are better insulated now i can tell the difference when I'm outside the car or walking around town.
some of these remind me of the toy ones i had as a kid . i had a tinplate ford skyliner . it had a friction motor inside it , when you zoomed it across the carpet the lights flashed and the siren worked .
At 0:31 Loved those old Beantown Police cars I have several books on Police vehicles dating back to the 1800s to current PM me if interested I will sell them CHEAP. I also have specialty Police vehicle books and old gear if anyone is interested.
man there must have been a whole lot of dirtbags dragged around with all those old cars.I bet they still smell like bacon and donuts.Alot of hookers banged in the backseats too.Cops really are the biggest criminal element, real organized crime.
@Drivermatic I received an e-mail about a post on this site. I do not know how, but the comments from deadworm2 are not mine. I have never been on this site, "old Police Cars", until now. I am a professional firefighter and have relatives and friends that are cops. We work well together in my town.
@Drivermatic I see that whoever made the comment using my identity also made a dumb comment on another YouTube site. Probably from the firehouse computer when I went on a run. Sorry that they disturbed you, Drivematic.
The 62 inforcer is now owned by a former Calgary police officer, I beleive he is a Tsu Tina indian reserve police officer. I beleive his car is the only one of its type left in existence
@tropicalfishguy100 Wow, 300 cops is a "small" police dept??? There are not 20 cops in my whole county counting county, city and Highway Patrol. Nice old cars though, I would like to find one like Roscoe drove on the Dukes of Hazzard.
At 1:44 there is a 62 Chrysler Newport. Can you tell me where you took this picture or who the owner might be. My dad bought one of these in 1965 it was ex California Highway Patrol. I loved that car it was fast. Thanks
where i can buy a model at 1:55 (cheviac 1987)?

Pretty cool video. Saw a mid-70s Dodge, but no '74 or '75 Plymouth Furies, which were really common as State Police/Highway Patrol cars then.
