Delta Force is strictly Counter Terrorism and the Green Berets are primarily used for training foreign soldiers (like the Iraqi army). Navy SEALs have much harder training (often said to be the toughest in the world) and are used for a wider assortment of tasks. Thats why i see ODSTs as them. Plus the ODSTs are part of the UNSC, a navy

@SheikTijl Stupid thing is that there was no need to do it, the rest of the suit is almost identical, all they needed to do was give the troopers normal ODST gloves and a neck joint, (you can see their necks in some cutscenes) and it would be fine. Also having the sealed suit would help the Rookie's everyman personality as you wouldn't be able to tell his ethnicity.

Like, in a desert type stuff, where you can command a squad and have some better guns. the assault rifle is getting old. I was excited when i found out we got to play as an odst. but then the game sucked. ONE thing i liked about the game was the silenced smg, because it was epic.
