@JoBernard12oxen the pretrib rapture and second coming are two different things. Jesus dosen't return at the rapture, he decends into the clouds, and collects his church. He does this because he said "Because Thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, which shall come upon the earth. The day of the lord... is not a literal day the day of the lord is the name of the 1000 year reign of christ on earth.

@babynona For those who belive in the rapture there are 3 thoughts as to when the rapture will take place. Pre, mid, and post, day of the LORD.
The belief for the post rapture is that the church has taken the place of the jew and therefor the Church will be the one's who refuse the mark, and be the martyrs mentioned in the 5th seal judgement.

@cryptard the mid rapture view believes that the church has also taken over the place of the Jew and that we will be taken in the rapture which occurs 3 and a half years into the 70th week of Daniel, as to suffer the seal and Trumpet and Seal judgements but not the Bowl Judgements.
These two mainly lost many of thier followers when Isreal was revived. Forthe main reason people believed God would not revive the jews for that is who the Church became.

@cryptard the Pre Rapture belief is where Christ comes for His church, before the 70th week of Daniel, aka The Day of The LORD. This belief to me has much more Biblical proof to it.
Just one such scripture which kind of disproves the others beliefs on the rapture is "Matthew 24:36-44" emphasis on verse 44.
If the day of the rapture is as a the coming of a thief, none will know the time. And if the rapture is mid or post people will know the time, because of the signs in the Bible.

Becareful of the pretribulation rapture theory, I have studied it without bias, and found out it was false, we are all up for persecution. You need this time to prepare spiritually. We will leave after the 6th bowl when Yeshua (Jesus) comes for us!
