This comes from a documentary called "Tokyo Melody", it's up on youtube. It is in French, not officially released so there is no English subs or dub. The documentary follows Sakamoto during the 1984 recording sessions for his celebrated first post-YMO album, "Illustrated Musical Encyclopedia".
While he plays sweetly - is one still able to be completely overawed when, here, one sees inbuilt electrical piping backing him up? He's an accomplished half human-half machine piano player.

'Self Portrait' is one of my favorite music composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto.
I'm very surprised because recording scene is very rare.
I'm very happy to watching this video.
Thank you!
