stop complaining about graphics. ever heard of video compression? it reduces the quality of a video. no matter how HD the video of a video game trailer is, it will definitely look better in person. i played it at e3. the graphics are much more vivid and sharp than shown in these videos. also: you're playing a quality zelda game, graphics should be the last of your concerns.
Looks like it is going to be another awesome Legend of Zelda game. I will look into buying it if it is as good as Orcania of Time and Twilight Princess. And if it get's really good reviews.

Ugh the graphics are looking blocky and uninspired, giant mushrooms in Hyrule looks more like Mario to me. Don't get me wrong I loved the Wind Waker graphics, but this looks way too blocky and fuzzy for my taste. Animation is great for sure, but backgrounds aren't pretty. I guess the hardware limitations are really showing here. I think I will buy it anyways 'cause Aonuma and Miyamoto haven't dissapointed me yet. I hope Wii 2 isn't as far of as Reggie suggested.
The graphics I love the most come from Wind Waker, but who knows...if the finished product looks like this, I may have a new favorite (solely in terms of appearance).

As a LoZ fan, I'm way excited for this game. I don't know how much I will end up playing it, but I'm still excited to try it out. However, I am very disappointed that the creators chose not to continue on with the breathtakingly beautiful graphics from Twilight Princess. From the clips that I have seen of game play, the graphics seem more like a Disney Tarzan PS2 game than a high-quality Nintendo-created game.
This game looks amazing. It has great visuals to go along with it as well. You have all of the different skills like the crossbow and everything. This will be one great game once it arrives.

Looks vero Ocarina of Time, which is no bad thing. Not had the chance to hear or read what the story of the game is though, hopefully something as engaging as Ocarina would be good
I don't understand how someone who calls themselves a "Zelda Fan" couldn't be excited about this game. It's Zelda, every one is different in one way or another and every one is awesome in its own way that is what makes it Zelda. I have played every Zelda except for those CDI ones (those don't count) and will definately be playing this one.

@fj60driver yeah, thats all ps3 can deliver, pretty pictures, just because the visuals have enhanced a bit, the gameplay hasn't improved at all, so consoles are often even on that matter, I started being a fanboy after playing twilight princess, watched a person play through ocarina of time and majoras mask, and even now I know how the story goes, I still wanna buy ocarina of time! People said Okami was better then twilight princess, I have both and I think they live by their own charms.
@fj60driver Stop with the MGS4 already, yes it is a lot more awesome then any other MGS game I've even take a look at, any other MGS game didn't offer ANY other type of gameplay but the all through stealth, MGS4 had Metal gear Rex level, level were you control the camera, rapid fire weapons and upgradeable, awesome fast and easy blend in suit, boss fights aren't as stealthy which is GOOD!! the end in MGS3 was driving me insane, so MGS4 owns its older brothers :D never compare ps3 with zelda.

reading the plot of this game its supposed to take place befor oot were "link" is born and raised in Skyloft a floating place? in in the sky then some how he goes to hyrule were evil rules it i gess and then some point in the game the skyward sword tuns into the master sword and gives him advice by turning into a girl oh and he can travle between the two worlds using the sword and if you dont get it i read it on wikipedia.. a zelda game is still a zelda game :D

@XxEtothe3xX Up untill now OoT was the first Zelda game, because i shows where alot of the items originated from,(fairy slingshot, hammer) and why link is dressed like that. (bc its kokiri clothing) but, since the skyward sword does at some point in the game make the transiion to the master sword, and the maser sword is sealed away and legendary in OoT ,then SS has o be the new first Zelda game ever, due to the fact that it is the game where the MS is created.

@rugerairhawk I have a Wii and a 360 and I have to say that my Wii only ever gets played at Christmas nowadays. I'll admit it does have a few good exclusives, but they are so rare. I like the Wii as a console but when there is not one game a year I want to buy thats kinda sad. And all the add ons are so pointless, wii speak only works for like 2 games, zapper isn't useful for anything because there are only a few shooters and how many games use motion plus? I bet this one won't either :/.

I love the Zelda games (unfortunately I don't have a wii). This looks fantastic.
But there's always something I hate about games where the sword is on the character's back (and sometimes when it is at the side). In order to take it out of the sheath on the back, the arm would need to be longer than the sword. But, like in this trailer, the sword actually goes through the sheath when Link can't pull any further.
Besides that annoyance (which most sword games have), this will be a brillian game.
@TheMarkOfTheBeast1 Sorry, I am stupid because I meant just over half the length of the arm (a bit more if you hold it just by the ends of your fingers). When your arm is straight, you cannot angle your wrist towards your shoulders.
Secondly, however you angle your arm, the sheath would still be at the shoulder (so similar distance between hand and shoulder, at any angle) because it pivots roughly between the shoulders.
Lastly, even in this video its clear Link's sword went through the sheath
Graphics are not important to a game's overall greatness. It's the story and gameplay that make the game. Great examples of it are Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye 007.

I am sorry, but... This is not what I was expectina out of a non-WW based game... The graphics looks worse then that of Twilight Princess, it looks like all they did was take the graphic from the Twilight Princess Alpha/Beta and made a new game from it. Not impressed with Nintendo as of late, but at least the hopes of a non-ww Zelda game WAS there, but now it appears that my hopes for seeing a good Zelda game are gone... for now... Not bashing those who likes this game, just giving my opinion.
Har har. When people want cool graphics its usually like for old people. But if you make it kiddish graphics, more kids will buy it meaning more money for Nintendo. So it's all about the gameplay in the end. :D

@fj60driver yeah, thats all ps3 can deliver, pretty pictures, just because the visuals have enhanced a bit, the gameplay hasn't improved at all, so consoles are often even on that matter, I started being a fanboy after playing twilight princess, watched a person play through ocarina of time and majoras mask, and even now I know how the story goes, I still wanna buy ocarina of time! People said Okami was better then twilight princess, I have both and I think they live by their own charms.

Ocarina of Time IMO is the best the series has to offer. Buy it dude, it is a timeless epic classic that I still play consistently.

@fj60driver Stop with the MGS4 already, yes it is a lot more awesome then any other MGS game I've even take a look at, any other MGS game didn't offer ANY other type of gameplay but the all through stealth, MGS4 had Metal gear Rex level, level were you control the camera, rapid fire weapons and upgradeable, awesome fast and easy blend in suit, boss fights aren't as stealthy which is GOOD!! the end in MGS3 was driving me insane, so MGS4 owns its older brothers :D never compare ps3 with zelda.

@randomenvelope hell yeah he did. and I totally agree that MGS isn't as awesome as Zelda I am just sayin the only game I care about on PS3 is MGS4 and that still isn't enogh of a reason to buy one for me I just played it at my buddies house. Besides the next MGS is on Xbox so I can rubit in my buddies face even though I will be stuck playin as Raiden.

reading the plot of this game its supposed to take place befor oot were "link" is born and raised in Skyloft a floating place? in in the sky then some how he goes to hyrule were evil rules it i gess and then some point in the game the skyward sword tuns into the master sword and gives him advice by turning into a girl oh and he can travle between the two worlds using the sword and if you dont get it i read it on wikipedia.. a zelda game is still a zelda game :D

@XxEtothe3xX Up untill now OoT was the first Zelda game, because i shows where alot of the items originated from,(fairy slingshot, hammer) and why link is dressed like that. (bc its kokiri clothing) but, since the skyward sword does at some point in the game make the transiion to the master sword, and the maser sword is sealed away and legendary in OoT ,then SS has o be the new first Zelda game ever, due to the fact that it is the game where the MS is created.

@rugerairhawk I have a Wii and a 360 and I have to say that my Wii only ever gets played at Christmas nowadays. I'll admit it does have a few good exclusives, but they are so rare. I like the Wii as a console but when there is not one game a year I want to buy thats kinda sad. And all the add ons are so pointless, wii speak only works for like 2 games, zapper isn't useful for anything because there are only a few shooters and how many games use motion plus? I bet this one won't either :/.

1) Link wears white pants/tights, not brown.
2) Twilight princess graphics were good sure, but it didnt suit/fit the game, now it just kind of looks like they have mashed together windwaker oot, and twilight princess graphics all in one. Im not saying its a bad game, i havent played it yet, but these look like theyve been mixed together of the old ones.

I love the Zelda games (unfortunately I don't have a wii). This looks fantastic.
But there's always something I hate about games where the sword is on the character's back (and sometimes when it is at the side). In order to take it out of the sheath on the back, the arm would need to be longer than the sword. But, like in this trailer, the sword actually goes through the sheath when Link can't pull any further.
Besides that annoyance (which most sword games have), this will be a brillian game.

@TheMarkOfTheBeast1 Sorry, I am stupid because I meant just over half the length of the arm (a bit more if you hold it just by the ends of your fingers). When your arm is straight, you cannot angle your wrist towards your shoulders.
Secondly, however you angle your arm, the sheath would still be at the shoulder (so similar distance between hand and shoulder, at any angle) because it pivots roughly between the shoulders.
Lastly, even in this video its clear Link's sword went through the sheath

Graphics are not important to a game's overall greatness. It's the story and gameplay that make the game. Great examples of it are Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye 007.

I am sorry, but... This is not what I was expectina out of a non-WW based game... The graphics looks worse then that of Twilight Princess, it looks like all they did was take the graphic from the Twilight Princess Alpha/Beta and made a new game from it. Not impressed with Nintendo as of late, but at least the hopes of a non-ww Zelda game WAS there, but now it appears that my hopes for seeing a good Zelda game are gone... for now... Not bashing those who likes this game, just giving my opinion.
