cont.. one owner said he broke his door and I can see that happening if you are being even slightly hasty. Also another owner said he saw bubbles coming from his shutter button at first and got scared. Mine did too but it was fine. Guess it is typical.
The camera has two doors.They both have a rubber rectangular protrusion that goes into the coresponding hole.The one for the av/usb slides tightly shut. The one for the battery and sd card is similar. It moves just a hair. Was a concern at first but I have used this camera underwater 7 times and have had no problems. I even wiped the outside area dry when the camera was freshly wet and opened the door and the inside was dry. Be sure to unluck and slide the bat. door fully b4 pulling back..cont.
As for flicker, I havn't but maybe this week I will. But the still shots on these videos are the actual pictures. And are pretty close to what they look like on the camera. The software that comes with the camera is really easy and awsome and will put pics and videos you choose all together in a slide video and directly down load it to youtube (what you see here, face book, ect, or what ever you choose.
Just Curious, how well does the door close that keeps the camera water tight? I have been using the Stylus Tough and have been through 2 already due to leakage at only a couple feet of water. My warantee is now up, so next time it happens, I'm on my own so I'm just going to switch brands. Seems like every WP camera has many reviews with the same problem. When you close this one up, does it feel like it gets a good seal?

My review is by dustin.The pic quality seems to get better the closer you are to a subject.A pic of two people, shoulders and up look great.But full body or my pic of a cow from further away, are about par.For strict quality picture I really found the Sony TX10 amazing(i didn't try the panasonic because it didn't have macro.)But the sony doesn't have all the bells and whistles the pentax has.I've had this camera for over a week and I still "play" with it every day.
No problem, I realized there wasn't much out about this camera so I wanted to help out. Read my review on amazon. I'm going to put on a dry land video/pic compelation,/ various pic with different settings labeled, /and another macro compilation tomorrow. Just remember this, the pics you see on my youtube video do the camera justice. But the video looks way better on the camera/computer before it up loads to youtube.
