The origin of Dracula is as real as the origin of Santa Claus. They were actual people, one being a saint and another being a messed up Lord that tortured people. Their fame/infamy has made them legends and ridiculously awesome stories are based off of their reputation.
Do they consider Cain to be the first Mason? Is this one of their secrets? "And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city; and he called the name of the city after the name of his son Enoch. "
"His Romanian surname Drăculea (also spelled "Drakulya")... means "son of the dragon", in reference to his father, Vlad Dracul,... he had joined the Order of the Dragon. Dracul, from the Latin word Draco, meaning "dragon", is derived from the Greek word Δράκων (Drákōn). In Romanian, on the other hand, Dracul means "devil, and in the bible the devil is also called the dragon, great dragon and the snake"."- Wikipedia
Revelation 12:7-9 (Darby Translation) 7 And there was war in the heaven: Michael and his angels went to war with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels; 8 and he prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
" 12 Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time. "
This is something I am going to give more consideration to...it has always intrigued me the media's preoccupation with Dracula. And are there other reasons, other than selling the product, that Hollywood feels the need to make Dracula either a figure that gravitates towards the romantic side of the spectrum or one who's form is esthetically pleasing? What happened to portraying Drac as an image similar to Nosferatu.
Can the origins be alien, a physical manifestation of an off world group?
